Either I missed it or haven't gotten that far into the game yet. What was it?

The song playing when he walked into the taxidermist's, coupled with the "fallout boy"-esque symbol on the door.

GOD. I was really looking forward to this season, but it just seems kinda... Eh.

Spoilers.

Hopefully it gets a lot better in the next episode. What's with peter's power suddenly? He had to touch Tracy and Mohinder to absorb their powers... And Hiro without powers is boring.

The spoiler for the next episode had the tagline "It all started with a plane crash...". Sounds like the writers are taking some cues from Lost, haha. Maybe if we're lucky the writers will pick up some other techniques from Lost such as developing coherent character personalities.

It might be the fact that they were drugged that required him to gain their powers. It might be once they all come awake and all that he will be able to absorb their powers without needing to touch them.

I was surprised that Noah was in on it. I would have thought he'd be against what Nathan is trying to do, though I suppose he thought it would keep Clair safe so he is ready to do anything to protect her.

I think Peter's power might be a little bit different now since he injected himself with the formula. At the end of the episode previous to this he flew after he touched Nathan. In this past episode he touched Mohinder to gain his super strength. He beat down all the guards and accidentally touched Tracy and absorbed her cold power. After the back of the plane broke off it seemed like all he had were the freezing powers. The super strength and flight were gone. I think Peter can only absorb one power at a time. When he gets a new one the previous power is gone.

I didn't notice that, but it makes sense and would prove interesting for the rest of the series. Would make Sylar the only all-powerful one Smiley: tongue.

I thought the super strength was how he was managing to hang on to the net thing...

Oh, and hew flew out of the plane? I remember, a chair got ripped out of the plane and flung away. Who was it?!

The superbowl commercials made me want to start watching this. <.< It'll take a while before I get enough free time to watch it though.

I didn't start watching it till three episodes into this season... Actually, I bought the first season to see if I would like it. Then I bought the second and watched them all. I'm kinda hooked. It's addictive like FFXI, even when the show is going bad. You want to see just how hard it fails, or if it can make a miraculous comeback.

Pretty much.

I still like Heroes. I like the idea of moral ambiguity. The exploring of the idea that sometimes good and bad are clear, but sometimes it's only a matter of perspective, where you are looking from and what information you are acting on.

This. Peter's Dad took his original powers (so he's also no longer suffering from Sylar's hunger) & he got "new" ones by injecting himself.

Peter's powers do indeed seem to be different now.

Now...whether or not that remains when he meets up with Ando is a different story.

Go go super sidekick powers.

Yea, his power is just humorous, although not as stupid as I would have expected (although still rather cliche').

So it seems that Peter can only hold onto one power at a time and if he touches anyone else he loses the previous power. So much for super-powered Peter. What would happen if Peter touched Syler though? Would he gain just Syler's psychokinetic ability or would he gain all of the abilities that Syler has?

Maybe he'd gain back the ability to copy more than one power at a time. Since Sylar could do it through empathy once, maybe Peter would go back to normal.

Anyway, this episode didn't bring a whole lot either. Again, hopefully next week will be better. It's intense material, but for some reason just isn't really capturing me. It seems so... Awkward, I guess. Like it's not flowing together right. They randomly breezed over the most action packed scene of the episode (Where daphne gets killed and it just all seemed like it was put together really strangely.

Except if it were baby photos, it would be like looking at before and afters of Michael Jackson. Only instead of turning into a white guy, he changes into a chick!

Feb. 16th

It was great to see Noah actually being a dad putting his foot down with Claire's defiance. He tried to before, but not good like that. It's about time.

I'm also glad they resorted to something a bit more drastic with Tracy. I was finding it a bit hard to believe that the insulated gloves were working when she turned a man to slush within seconds when her powers first manifested. IMO, though, there needs to be more Ali Larter in the show. Srsly. It was so nice to see her in action again, but she just can't catch a break! Maybe they'll just kill her off and move on to Barbara instead...

Awesome ending on top of it all. Looks like we're actually going to learn who Noah is too.

Meh, I loved the first season of Heroes, the second season wasn't that good (but hey, it was only half a season), after that it was pretty good, and this season started off well but seems... well... I don't know how to say it.

I just feel like we keep seeing the same people, with new roles. Noah is good, then he's bad, then he's good. Sylar is bad, then good, then bad again. Nathan is good, then bad, then ok, now bad again. It just keeps switching around, but nothing really feels like it's changing.

I don't care for the fact that Peter, the main "nice guy" is now leading a guerilla war to destroy a part of the US government. And it sucks that Daphne got blasted out of the show so quickly. I still need to watch the first half of the most recent episode, but I caught the ending. I do like that it seems Nathan is losing control of his operation. I think his character is a lot better so far this season. Noah showed a human side too when he left the house. I guess that makes up for Peter and Matt being all revenge-driven.

Claire is still kind of annoying. Sorry cheerleader.

Hiro is still awesome, but looks horrible running in an orange jumpsuit. But if he doesn't get his powers back soon, I'll get quite bored with him, which would be sad, as he's been my favorite character in the series.

They had a different writer in season two and villains. Now the guy who wrote season 1/genesis is back and he's the one doing fugitives.

Interesting new episode. I'm a big fan of Noah, so back to "morally gray"is ok w/me.

Daphne being alive changes things for the rebals a bit.

Looks like the future has a different US city going up in flames, time for Hiro to get his powers back so he can figure things out. Either that or use the Daphne & Ando time travel combo...
