What exactly was the reason to make "de su" into "rate me down" instead?

de-su (Put it together) used to be some spam meme or something on these forums years ago. It became a forbidden word defaulting to "rate me down" when used. Kinda like Chukc Norris (spelled correctly).

Oh.

If it's that long ago, someone was probably a Suiseiseki fan.

It only gets better. Easily the best show of last season.

I'm 6 episodes into Durarara and I'm liking it so far. It gives off a little bit of a Baccano feel at first with all of the independent characters coming together.

For the first 18 minutes I couldn't figure out why 2 people would recommend this right off the bat. Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica Was deciving at first, but got good at the end and hooked me into watching the 2nd and 3rd episodes. You are right about the art style, I like it.

Only watched the 1st episode of Gosick so far, but I'm looking forward to more since I like the mystery element.

Steins;gate is now on my list. Thank you for that suggestion. I knew I came to the right people for help.

It's done by the same studio, so they hear that a lot Smiley: tongue I've never seen Baccano; it's on my to-watch list.

It picks up. Is episode 3 the episode with the very hungry caterpillar? Once you get to that episode you basically go "Oh, sh*t" and get hooked, haha.

Yep, that's the episode. Poor Mami. At least Homura gets to actually show off that episode though.

So no one has watched G-Gundam, it's probably the only one that doesn't follow the standard Gundam template. No genetically altered humans, no colonies rebelling against Earth, just fighters vs fighters in giant robot suits.

Also if you seen Outlaw Star make sure you watch Angel Links, it's a spin-off from OS episode 19 with the private security forces.
I tried watching G-gundam a few years ago, it was way too cartoony for me.

G Gundam had this, which easily elevates it to God Tier.

Your right about the hungry caterpillar. I'm almost done with the series now. I'm also loving Steins;gate. I'll get back to the others you recommend after these 2.

Steins;gate went from "I'm not really sure how I feel about this... main character's a little weird and the plot is a bit meh" to "Holy crap, must know what is going on" in about 2 episodes. I need to finish it...

Unfortunately it's still on-going; I've watched up to episode 15. The last few have been madly addicting. The action really picked up around episode 12.

I'm on episode 11, and it's sort of at a good holding point... so maybe I should wait here for a few more episodes to come out? :P

Yeah, it seemed fairly obvious.
