One book I've been looking into in particular is Maus and I was wondering if any of you knowledgeable *cough cough* OOT goers have ever read it or have any opinions on it.

A few linky's for those who haven't read it. (Including myself.)

I have. It's brilliant and influential. I'm tired so I'm not going into detail. Buy it and then we'll discuss.

Both me and Jophiel have read it. It's definitely a good read, but I'd recommend reading it from a friend, then in 3-4 years you'll be like "I wanna read that again" and you'll buy it and enjoy it even more.

I strongly recommend "Maus on a motorcycle."

What's really to discuss about it? It was nice and beautiful. I also have enjoyed everything by Harvey Pekar, and that one black and white about the girl from Iran that they made a movie of but I can't remember the name right now.

Persepolis. Marianne Satrapi being interviewed is a trip. She's quite a character.

Yeah that, I kinda enjoyed the movie more. But uh... I'm kinda in between comics right now.

On the author, I like how she really tamed down living Iran to the point where I could relate to her, even though in reality it'd be pretty hard...

I just finished the Student for a Democratic Society book by Harvey Pekar, which was cool and all.

I really didn't enjoy his newer American Splendor because it was somewhat rehashed kinda...

Well, according to some idiots in the world, it would be considered fantasy.
