While I'm sure some would say it's always sucked, I don't think there's any debate that the books after the first six have, on average, sucked much worse than any suckage the first six may have produced.

Personally I liked the first six but ya know someone will ***** about 'em so there ya go.

Because it's outdated and wasn't ever really that good beyond 2 series of books probably.

Kender are the only fantasy race more irritating than Gnomes.

I like Kender :(

And yea. Anything other then Chronicles/Legends/War of Souls is garbage.

War of Souls was already bordering on the bad. Granted, not as bad as what came after, I have to admit!

I started on that Dwarven Depths, I just quit, I really couldn't be bothered to read any further.

I have to agree. If you look at the books, even going way back to the first set, they're complete trash. Oh, to be fair the books are entertaining and make for a fun read if you're bored, but they're trash none the less. Once you get past Legends though it goes from being mildly, stupidly, entertaining to just plain bad.

Legends was just about the only good ones. Just because it was about Raistlin and his aspirations of becoming a God.

I only really liked the series about Caramon and Raistlin. I really liked that.

They made more than just 6 good books its just that the number of bad ones to good ones was pretty sad.

I dont know if anyone saw the recent animated movie they made but it was pretty bad too, i dont blame them for dropping it.

I havnt gotten around to reading much of it myself but a friend tells me that wiess and hickmans stuff outside dragonlance is pretty good. The darksword trilogy is all i read and it was pretty good.

They've written several interesting and good series, imo anyway. Deathgate cycle and the Sovereign Stone trilogy are both quite good, although I didn't really like the endings, but that's something I tend to have with most of the books I read of them, for some reason.

Deathgate Cycle was good, although I had to read it twice to understand it, and even then I'm not sure I *really* understood...

Still entertaining though.

And I have to agree about Dragonlance. The first 6 and Legend of Huma (not Weiss and Hicks, I know) were about the only good ones.

I was seriously disappointed w/ Amber and Blood ; ; The Hourglassmage well they have always been horrible about releasing Books when the last last book says it will be.

Soulforge was actually one of my favorites.

Death Gate Cycle was the best series from the Weis Hickmaan team imo

Hickman's The Bronze Canticles w/ his wife Laura was a good read.

I would like to see some more Kit Books Highlord Skies got more in depth w/ her still would like to me more though.

I've enjoyed most all of the DL books but the ones strictly related to Elves kind bore me for the most part. I unno they tend to think to much and can get whinney especially Prince Boo-Hoo-Mina Q.Q ick
