Earth Rises Again(or ERA) is a post-human Sci-Fi MMORPG set in the distant future. And it's being developed by newly formed(2005) game studio Masthead Studios. This is their first project.
This new MMORPG has some very nice ideas for gameplay and freedom of developing your own character which I like alot. The character development is based on a Skill-based system with no class restrictions. Another nice concept is that you will not be able to join any specific faction. After a certain level evry player can form their on band or faction. For example I've made a female character that is deceptive then in my faction can join characters with similar skills. ERA will be PvP game in wich every character can interactive with absolutely everyone free. This means that if you kill and innocent citizen(or a low lvl player) you will be instantly аnnounce for manhunt by the control authorities and their will be put a bounty for your head that the other players can collect by killing you.
