He is the author of a number of books, mostly about the far east.

Shogun being my favourite book of all time.

I loved King Rat, Gai-jin, Tai-pan. I am about to start reading Whirlwind soon too, once I've finished Pirates! in an adventure with scientists. (which is just a lil comedy type book my mum got me for xmas).


Anyone else read any of his stuff?

I would seriously suggest you pick up... well any one of the titles they aren't really in a specific order (unless you do it by date) but you will see different names cross refferenced pretty much throughout all of them.
