Wow. Just wow.

Do I really have to wait until October to have some more?

I am just amazed to see that they completely changed the paradigm of the show. One of my few reservations about this show has been the notion that it would be nothing more than season after season of "run and hide from the Cylons." Yep, okay, no more worries on that front. Taking a show and COMPLETELY turning it upside down on its head like this--that takes balls. I'm duly impressed.

Baltar. Ah, what can I say about Baltar? I used to think he was all hot and morally ambiguous, but he's basically just a worm. And as with most worms, he REALLY needs to come to a squishy end. I mean really. Glad to see his miscalculations bite him on the ***.

I SO want to know what happened with Starbuck and Apollo to put them on not-speaking terms. Obviously it has something to do with Dee, but what? As for Dee, there is still ZERO chemistry between her and Apollo. I don't know whose acid trip that 'ship was. It just needs to end, now.

I was hoping we'd find the post-Presidential Roslin shacking up with Adm. Adama. Alas, it was a far-fetched hope. Good on Callie and Chief Tyrol, though. I notice Starbuck isn't preggers, which is fine, I have no need to see her preggers, but it does bring up the question of what was done to her in "The Farm" on Caprica, and whether or not there is any truth to the rumor that her ovaries were removed. Why do I suspect Anders is not long for the world, new or otherwise?

Sharon and Helo's baby is just a little smaller than I believe a 13 to 14-month-old should be.

I REALLY don't want to wait until October. No, I don't.

WAht did they do with Sharon? notice that her babydaddy was chillin' up on Galactica with Adama. Did they finally say to hell with her, like they must have did those priests?

WAht ever became of this big Cylon "5th column" that 6 and 8 supposedly started? At first I was wondering if the Cylons that invaded were just a happy Cylon welcome party come to make peace.. guess not. I suppose the #8 that Baltar greeted during the surrender is the same one that he banged. He has totally gone off the deep end and I'd say finally grown into his namesake.
My guess... He could be taken by the Cylons as a kind of "overseer" of affairs.. not unlike the original Baltar.

Perhaps it may be that these Cylons are the ones that didn't agree with 6 and 8 and still hate humans?

I KNEW Cali and Chief were MADE for each other from the begining. Chief rules. he's one of my favourites.
They really did gt balls with taking it ahead a whole year. Notice that Tye and Cara are actually getting along!?
I wasn't really expecting this show to be good either at first, then I watched Season 1 back to back and was hooked. This show is totally a character drama. If you took away the spaceships and robots, it would still contain all of the same elements.

Waht the FRACK is going on!?

A Cylon entered Ander's tent (it SEEMS before the Cylons landed) and he asked for Cara Thrace. Waht's up with that?

This whole thing is just nuts. Waht are they going to do with them?

What wondering what they did with GalacticaBrig!Sharon myself. I don't think Helo would have been still hanging around Galactica if they had spaced her, so I'm guessing she's still cooling her heels in the brig.

(psst!...it's Six that Baltar was banging. Sharon is Eight.)

I'm assuming that this New Caprica invasion party IS the New Cylon Order that Six and Sharon started. They're no longer focused on killing humanity; they want a peaceful co-existence...so long as they get to enforce their own ideals of morality and order upon the humans.

I've been reading one fanfic where Roslin describes the Cylons as trying to become the "parents" in their role with humanity, in that they think they can set the rules and enforce them because they "love" the humans. But, of course, being machines, their idea of what "love" is does not necessarily preclude the idea of blowing the brains out of the odd troublemaker that stands in the way of "peace."

I agree. I keep describing the show to my non sci-fi watching friends as being "so good you forget it's sci-fi." Which is thrilling, haven't had that happen since B5.

Yeah, there always was something there between Cally and Chief, but it's a little squicky that our last major vision of them together before they show up all happy and preggers was of him beating the **** out of her. Yeah, I know it was some PTSD-woke-up-from-a-nightmare-not-in-his-right-mind thing, but still...squicky, squicky...

Brilliant frakking TV, that's what.

I can never remember the name of that particular Cylon, but he's the same model as the one that Adama left in the space-station/nebula place at the end of the pilot miniseries, and the one that Starbuck tortured/interrogated before Roslin had him spaced in the first season episode "Flesh and Bone," so he and Kara have some history, because he got into her head quite a bit between her attempts to drown him.
