Yup, I've read all six books more times than I care to count. White Gold Weilder was my favourite of them. ^^

The Illearth War was my favorite. Hile Troy is the man.

I read that new book that came out recently that's about Linden and it was pretty good. It wasn't on par with the First and Second Chronicles, but I'll still be picking up the next one.

My characters are Mhoram, Waynhim and Saltheart so you could say I'm familiar with the subject. Thomas Covenant Lives!!!

I am a big fan. Thomas Covenant is such an unusual protagonist, prob the best anti-hero I've found. I loved the character Saltheart Foamfollower.

I just finished Book one of the Final Chronicles of THomas Covenant the Unbeliever: The Runes of the Earth. I love the Thomas Covenant stories, but this one seems forced. Before, the tale had a nice, lyrical, epic quality. It had a great ending as well. I though it was finished. I had no reason to think otherwise. Then I go to my local book store and see the new book on the shelf. I buy it unquestioningly and read it in a single gulp. I thought lacked much of the suspense of the other stories, and most of it feels contrived. I think Donaldson is running out of cash, because this book feels like a Gearoge Lucas move to me. I love THomas Covenant and he isn't even really a character in the book that bears his name. Hopefully we will get more of that good old storytelling back in the next two volumes.

Favourite Characters: The Blood Guard

I read both parts of the series. I'd like to read them again, but am unsure of which moving box they reside.

Quite possibly the most difficult and yet most rewarding series i have ever read.

It was a painful but ultimately worthwhile read, not something i would give to a inexperianced reader, but high quality none the less.
