I just rejoined FF XI after years again and after trying to figure out the very basic controls and oddly complicated configurations i realized that there wasn't a single English / German speaker online. Japanese as far as the eye can see.
Are there still active people who don't require the translator function to talk to?
I feel like a total noob.
I'm a lvl. 70 SMN, 37 WHM, 31 BLM.
I just need some guidance to get back into the game. If there's anyone interested, just hit me up in-game or here or whatever.

or if you're just as confused as i am, let's be even more confusing together.

My ingame name is "Pheeps" and i'll make sure to learn how to chat by the time you people spam me with /tells.

I'm in the same boat, although I don't have my old characters anymore (got hacked many years ago). I'm enjoying the nostalgia running around nuking stuff. Looking for a shell now to get aquainted with the new stuff.
