GM's Are they doing enough?Follow

They are worthless.

We still have Odins most notorious gil selling crews active, despite thousands of complaints about them, they do nothing about the logging and mining areas taken over by the not-so-notorious gil sellers, and to top it off, they respond to complaints about these groups with condecending, intellect insulting questions and statements.
"Sorry you have to share the mining and logging points with other players" and "Everyone has a right to farm this area, even linkshell groups who are actively farming 24/7 for 3 months, as you claim."
CLAIM? Here's a condecending reply of my own.. A MONKEY could spend 7 days on our server and realize that the same mammal with opposing thumbs can not play for 7 days straight without sleep, and surely wouldn't be alert enough after 3 days to initiate tactics to prevent others from farming/logging/mining the area they are monopolizing.
Cookie cutter responses, and assholish remarks when you force them out of using said responses.
A damn high school computer lab student in his first year of programming could figure out how to look at the logs and figure out a basic program to red flag activities such as, constantly active players, constant moving of large amounts of gil, players who are online 24/7 but remain at the same rank/level and level 15 thf sub-job for 6 months. Holy "we-don't-give-a-crap" Square Enix, how many players have to jump ship before you do something about it.

ive been reporting people if they seem really outta line... like this one crazy mithra in valkurm, and this guy that said mormons suck in bastok... now im no mormon but thats so breaking policy and its not cool.. oh and when this one guy trained giants to delkfutt and got people killed cuz he didnt like me asking him not to fight by parties cuz of AOE... god..

but i think GM's are doing thier job. Could they do more? sure. but they are nice fellas and you can only do so much i mean people have ways of talking out of it, or just whatever.. but its fine so long as it's not a cheater ruled game, i could care less. Hasn't effected me directly yet.. so.... ya. but heed this, you screw with me, theres a gm knocking at your door, wether u are suspended or not

Speaking of gil-farmers, I know of the Ls dudes, the Kuangs, and now there are the Golds, and also Smile the female Elvaan in Windy. Are there any others I don't know about?

Yeah, I saw those Ls people again when killing beetles for my RSE.
Every time I go down Ordelles Caves, or just /sea the area I see 3 or 4 people with the name ls<something> farming down there, all in the same PT (with lsgirl as the leader usually, also lsfeifei and 2 others).
They farm especially on the stroper chymes. Just do a /sea all ls and you see a bunch of anon people with ls at the start of the name farming key areas.
Are those the ls people you are talking about?


I've never seen the Kuangs, but I suppose they don't have such obvious names as the ls people (well, I've not seen anyone with the name Kuang<something> yet, but I don't camp NMs).

I never knew they were gil-farming to sell for cash though. I've not been around that long :\
