This guy is shouting that he is selling Leaping Boots.
While in trade he will put the boots in window, then cancel the trade. After the 3rd or 4th trade, he will not put the Leaping Boots in but the Lizzard Ledeslens. Once he has your money he will log off, leaving you with crappy lvl 17 boots.
GMs don't appear willing to do much about this as I know 2 people who have gotten ripped off. If anyone knows who this guys main character is, feel free to post it, so the rest of the people on the server can make their life hell. In the meantime, beware this guy and shout that he's a con artist when you see him shouting.

About a month ago I actually saw a post about a few people that were doing this to their LS buddies in the THF Forum. Perhaps this is where they had gotten the idea? Regardless it does happen and its sad that it does. Just be careful.

One thing one can do if you don't really trust the seller is to ask them to put the item up in their bazaar for the price you're willing to pay.

so let me get this straight.. you put up a week's worth of gil in a trade.. for lizard ledelsens.. and hit ok before u saw the boots after he was dinking with ya 4 times? I dunno if that falls under being ripped offf cuz its totally preventable.. but it sucks either way.
