not much, sitting at work, then i'll go home, turn in my whispers from last night, then its probably time for crappy drivers education school which for some reason is suddenly mandatory, then its back to ffxi, maybe dress up a 75 and go bash some skulls in.

i keep telling myself i'm going to log in to give all of my sh*t away, but that'd mean i'd have to install FFXI....and pay for another month.

edit: that is if the 1's and 0's that are the awesomeness of Coot(erbrown) still exist

So I thought I drop by and see what you good folks have been up to. What do I see but a Beer thread on the first page. Was truly a surprise when I realized that it was I who posted it XD


I tend to play a lot of CoD4 now. I think Kyo may still be alive and well. I gave him to a friend a while back. If not then oh well. I can honestly say that I'm am completely and utterly done with FFXI.

Only took me a few years to finally kick the habit...

you should give warhawk a try...i enjoy the hell out of that game. my friend tried to get me playing CoD4 but i don't want to immerse myself in a new game when i just got (or was about to get) GTAIV (which i think with the 1.01 patch, i can actually play now, even though i didn't think that was the patch that was going to fix my issue (launch 60GB)).

I think the gil is still a good amount. The gear though...holy crap. The prices of what was leet in our day has dropped to worthless. I mean...a freakin Igqira Weskit is 14k on the AH...it's become vendor trash. :O At least my +1 staves were still worth some gil. Those I kept, though. I worked the hardest for my BLM gear. Couldn't bring myself to part with any of it.

gil is worth a huge deal more now than it was back then. I still kick myself for paying over 7 mil for a SH while prices were dropping, since ~1 year later the same SH was worth 350k at best.

The gil is worth a ton - Corth has graciously sponsored both a Genbu run (maybe we can get Vamprey something nice <3, but either way it'll be good times!) and a fun contest for my nooblets. I've got a scavenger hunt going right now, and have upped the gil prize for the monthly ss contest (that I started last month >.>) from 10k to 50k so hopefully it'll make stuff more fun for them :D





(Also random note - if you see low level chars in a beastman area that is obviously higher level than them, and they HAPPEN to be standing beside a beastmaster mob, please don't kill the beastmaster. Especially when it doesn't actually drop ANYTHING that you could possibly be farming out in the middle of NOWHERE, and DOUBLE especially when it shares a pop with several other mob types. It just makes that person angry to wait over an hour for the beastmaster to repop so that they can continue to exp, having to have someone else kill the WARs, MNKs, and whatever else might pop in order to respawn it.)

To be fair, I did learn that the beastman I was levelling on at the time DID have a drop that could not be farmed in another zone. That being said, there were also at LEAST 9 other pop locations of mobs that dropped the same item. Leaving one alone for people levelling it on it would have cut his efficiency by 10%, but killing it for that drop for over an hour cut my exp by 100%.

I was not happy.

lol god I hope not. If Age of Conan turns out to be as awesome as it looks, it should keep me busy for a while.

Oh, and just so I can contribute... I also cancelled my account a few months back when I realized in a panic that it was the end of the month, I was broke, and I was still shelling out $15 a month for sh*t I didn't use anymore...

Left behind about 4-5 mill on my two characters plus all their gear.


Arte, be a doll and see if Mouse still plays and wants my account so at least all that sh*t don't go to waste? It's probably the least I owe him.

I didn't think Warrior would be this fun, I was running around grabbing the hates on mobs in Besieged (and dying a few times).
