Aht Urghan Missions 42 and on..Follow

I should be around at that time (probably off Campaigning). If you need help, send me a /tell. Probably best if I go BLU for 42 (AOE from the gears toast my wyvern to fast to solo them as DRG). Dunno about WAR or DNC for that fight.

For Alexander, if you get a PLD to tank it, I can go DRG/WHM* and hang out out of range of Alex's attacks while keeping my Maggie in range to Healing Breath the PLD whenever he drops under 50%. Have another real healer to top him off, Erase the Def Down effect of Alex's moves, and cure bomb after Alex's 2hrs, maybe yourself as RDM/WHM, though you might be best as BLU to Head Butt the BLU's Eyes On Me, which can 1-shot a Galka PLD. Pile on whatever heavy DDs you can get and get the win. If you can finagle a BRD into helping, Light Carol is extremely useful.

* Why DRG/WHM: The Alexander fight is a very long battle, typically taking close to the full time, since he can spam cures on himself. It's very easy for even two healers to burn through their MP keeping the tank and random DD's alive. DRG/WHM gives essentially endless Cure IIIs if the PLD dips under 50% HP. I have Balharan's Ring, and the Alex battle is an "Assault System" zone, so its auto-refresh is active. Sanction auto-refresh backs that up and a couple drinks for emergencies means I basically can't run out of MP. When I did the Alex fight I went as BLU/THF, and while I was useful on the 1st phase of the fight, my damage on Alexander was pretty feeble (like, 200 point Disseverment), and I didn't notice any of my Head Butts stunning him. Also, because the battle is so long, and I was meleeing behind Alex, basically out of range of the RDM the whole battle, it was very difficult to keep MP up enough to do more than flail away feebly with my sword. Figuring that Alex, being Light-based might be weak to Dark attacks, I tried an Eyes On Me build, but the zone has double Light weather and as it turns out Alex resists dark pretty well. Most of the damage came from the BLM and RNG. SA Cannonball wasn't too horrible, but I didn't have a real Cannonball build.

And its done. To the guys who partied with me last night that did the fight. The first round I will admit was my fault. Accidently used poison breath on Rauban so he wouldn't stay asleep. But the 2nd attempt was the kicker. We barely finished it with 3 minutes left to spare.
