Awww.... no more avatar or nifty little smilies. See what happens when I go and get a little distracted. At least I can officially say I am over the addiction that is FFXI.

Then again, once I get settle in my new home around Nov I may need a new time killing habit. Sucks having to leave all my friends and family behind.

So how has everyone been doing of late? Anything interesting happen while I was gone?

Sup Kyo. Not much happening on my end. Except that I'm expecting a lil one in January. Don't know if it's a boy or girl yet. How's the police force treating you?

Congrats Corth, good to hear. Have you had any of those moments of sudden realzation that your going to be a father yet?

I'm no longer a cop... you can now reffer to me as a Fed. I'm up in wyoming at my new duty station untill a slot opens for another go at basic. Sooner than later hopefully.

All in all I'm bored out of my mind.

Actually, I've been a father for almost 14 years now. I have a son. He starts High School this year. The one thing that does scare me, is how long it's been since I've had to care for a baby. It's been about 13 years since my son was one. Plus, I'm not as young as I used to be. I'll be 33 this year. Which means I'll be like 50 by the time the new kid graduates high school. >.<

OMG it's the Feds! Heh. Good luck with your new choice in law enforcement.

lol, way to make me feel like a youngin. I'm sure it will all come back after the first few weeks. If it makes you feel better, that's about the age my parents were when I graduated high school.

Having to deal with fewer maggots... nearly tripple the pay... and I never have to go to court... I think I'm going to be alright. =)

meh, i'm using the lotro stylesheet, so all my colors are different. it's hard to get used to.

KYO...you're a freaking fed now? sweet! i kinda wish i could have applied to the FBI. they had an online screening thingy that i took about three years ago and i failed one of the questions. though it seems they've changed their rigidness on the subject since then.

EMPLOYMENT DRUG POLICY. it used to say if you've smoked marijuana within 3 years or more than fifteen times, then you were disqualified. i failed the latter part of that statement. now it states:
Quote:
Have used marijuana/cannabis within the past three years, or have extensively used marijuana/cannabis or over a substantial period of time. In making the determination about an applicant’s suitability for FBI employment, all relevant facts, including the recency and frequency of use, will be evaluated.

i didn't do it that much, but it was definitely over fifteen times.Smiley: drool2

i'll have to consider it if i ever get tired of my current job.

if i didn't have a real nice job i might reconsider and apply. i'm kinda settled in now and i know if i was to get hired to the FBI that i would have to move a couple times before being able to come back. then i would have to work out of New Orleans. i love New Orleans, but i wouldn't want to work in such a large city.
