Well, putting friends without reasons, LS friends, and good people I PT'd with aside, here's my list- lots more I can add but this is the list of people I came up with:
Kayleela =P Known ya for a while now, and you always PT'd with me and Ami around 40-50. Excellent white mage, but good friend. You always are there to offer help on coffer finding, always out to raise a friend stuck somewhere, and even held back at one point to give me and Ami a chance to catch up and did G1 with us even though you already done it.
Candyyu- Japanese player I met when I got my RNG finally. We levled with him using his summoner out in west ronfaure, when suddenly we ran into Jaggedy. Figuring it was worth a shot, we tried to kill him only to be horribly slaughtered since we were only helpless level 5s, and I think out of MP XD
But other then that, Candyyu helped me and Ami on several occasions with questing and rides- and took the time to help guide us on Utsusmei. Overall, great person I met, and great friend.
Demikatsumi and Firebear- Both good friends, and just overall fun to be around. Demi is a great friend and all, but I guess this is more towards his mom, Firebear- who helped us all level our lowbies, when we could have leveled with her- but she volunteered to speed things up a bit by red mage power :O
Frolia, Katu, hecthor, and the rest of the LS Newspirits- This is Ami's LS, a small one of friends- but time and time again, they helped me and friends out- when we needed AFs, when we NM hunt with friends, they were always honest people and helpful. Though, it is a Japanese LS- so I only ever catch Ami who works JP nights and Katu who lives in the US often, but Frolia and hecthor were always great people, who always tried thier best to stay up and help out with NM hunts such as Stroper and EH.
Maireal- A good friend whos helped us out on AFs and most of all, when she played it, was a fun Samurai to be around XD A very interesting and fun person, especially when we tried to figure out how big of a skillchain we can make if we both use our 2 hour...
Mykal- Though, he now quit, he was a good friend. We both camped Jaggedy Eared a week before he left to WoW, and when our whole PT got slaughtered right outside of the VD outpost, he took his time to raise EVERYONE and stuck around for a bit. A very good person, though, he now plays world of warcraft...
Eternalpeanut- The well known Choco-digger... When I first started this game, I was EXTREMELY clueless on how it worked. He took his time to help me get on my feet to figuring out the controls somewhat and even gave me my first spear. He was always a good friend, and helped me out with whatever I needed in /tell. Though he logs in occasionally now.... But it was a fun night when he logged in as we were doing AFs, and we saw Rapido run by- we must have spent an hour or so trying to get that spiney bastard's attention- hell I even got an arrow missed off of him but he never agro'd, but it was a fun night that day- even though he got slaughtered by a sabotender somewhat after I got my coffer...
Snoogans- the first BLM I Ever seen use a burst- great person and great cook= even though he burnt ramen IRL =P Though, last I checked he was quitting til summer >.<
Temis- I first started goldsmithy back in my Valkurm Dunes day as a warrior, and never got too far- probably 5 points before I gave up... When I met him, I saw him synthing gems from rocks. I grabbed some red rocks earlier in the AH because I found out they made sardonyxes (The sards when I checked costed more then the rock at the time for some reason) and not knowing about the other synth results, I asked him if he could gem them so I have them stacked- I at the time was trying to get to where I can make gemmed rings. Though he refused due to the fact people often took advantage of high end crafters, he sent me a link to his guide on Thecraft (Yar 21 smithy so far from his guide XD) and helped guide me from a point. I never got far in the beginning due to my low gil, but he helped me get started in crafting.
Not a few days later though, I wanted to get Ami a gift. I wanted to get her a knowledge ring for her whm (I didn't know mnd was needed more the int) but could not dream of affording the price, so I asked him if I provided the materials if he could make a signed ring for her (at the time, I wanted my name on the ring but he explained only crafters can put thier name on it like in UO ^^;) so I can give it as a gift. He agree'd to help me though, and first synth of his got it. I gave it to Ami the next day and I still remember how happy she was- hell, she still has that very ring today ^^
Though, I just recently got started in goldsmithy again and brought it up, but I hear Temis has been busy lately and rarely logs in now- still want to thank him and repay him properly one of these days...
Dragonhope- When I first met DH, I was looking for a whm. I did NOT know that she led Thecraft XD I wasn't able to finish putting together a PT, but talked to DH a while as she was fishing in Rabao...
Eventually, we DID PT (Don't think we got far, or even began) once in Jeuno, or was it Rabao, and I noticed a message to Temis to come back to the game in her bazaar message and she was part of thecraft... I made mention of it, mentioning that I once met Temis a long time ago and he helped me out, and asked what happened to him. She explained a bit, then I looked at it again real quick- but something caught my eye when I was wondering if she was a member or sackholder- I just noticed DH was the leader of thecraft XD
Funny how that happened... DH was actually quite a good person from my experience, and at one point upgraded Ami's Earth mantle to Gaia free of charge, if I provide the ingrediants. Ever since, I occasionally send a message mentioning my progress and seeing if she heard from Temis... But overall, Dragonhope from my experience seemed like a good person.
Lone- The only RL friend (Well, at this point anyhow) I will make mention on this post =P You are the very bastard that got me in this game from AC =P If it wasn't for the fact that I owed you for helping me get a month in, I most likely wouldn't be here now (Original deal was he paid a month of my Asheron's Call so I can get my villas paid for and open so friends can pay up IF in return, I give FF a try.) Now, I never really got into this game at the start, and probably would not even spend much longer in here if it was for the next person I am about to mention...
Ammy/Ami- The ONLY reason I play this game today. I met Ami back in Valkurm dunes outside of Selbina, I was forming my very first PT and needed a whm. She agree'd to come along, and met immediatly outside of Selbina- I think she was the first female Elvaan I ever Seen XD While forming, I decided maybe I should give the PT to someone else in the PT that apparently knew what to do, and we slowly filled. Ami talked a little and I figured she was a good person, but when it was time to buff- I found out something interesting- she was Japanese XD
She was speaking English pretty good at the time, I never thought about it until she had Japanese in her macros, I was pretty much impressed XD The PT went very great, and I helped her get her silence spell- but when it was time to disband, I knew I didn't want to lose this friend, so I added her to my friends list ^^ Over time we became close friends- she taught me some Japanese, I helped her with her English, she needed a PT, I formed one with us in it... Eventually, we became a perma-static with all of our characters, and pretty much did everything together.
Overtime, I tried to get her into my LS (We are all RL friends and try to keep it that way, but she was eventually made an exception to the rule), even after she got a Japanese one (Just so we can be in the same one ^^) and after getting Subjob together, slowly we got our first advance jobs together, all the crystals together, rank 4 and 5 together, G1 together, AFs together, etc etc...
She is just the person that gives this game meaning to me. If I never met her that day in Valkurm, I would be in Asheron's Call right now, probably trading stuff in Marketplace or running around in my plaugefang on the Singularity Isle... But thats not why I am mentioning her, as good as a friend she is to me, and as much as I love her, the reason why I am mentioning her is because of how she plays- she ALWAYS helps people that need it. Missions raise, a little help at leveling, AFs, NMs- anything- stranger or friend, she will help you that very second if we're not in a hurry for something. Time and time again, she helped a new player beat thier San D 1-3, time and time again, she stepped off her choco when we're halfways to a meeting point to raise someone that just died... Time and time again, she has helped a friend kill the NM for an item they need, helped someone with thier AF. Always, she is trying to help someone...
She is the nicest player I know, and she is the best friend I have, that I love more then anything. If she needs something, I never hesitate to help her, and she is always looking for something fun to do in the game.
And all those names that I did not mention, eh, gimme time and I'll eventually remember to add you XD
