Great Players thread.Follow

Ok taking some inspiration from the other server forums, and to introduce a positive output in this thread that will hopefully carry over to your player experience, I've decided to start a great players thread. These are people you know in game who have are all around good, whether it be helpful, a good friend, whatever the reason. I'll start mine off.

Zephoes: A great guy and always fun to talk, I'll be the first to admit he was one of the reasons I went PLD ^^;;

Kyouryoku: I've known him since my first dunes PT, he's always been helpful and I believe one of the many friends I have that set me on the path to being a good gamer.

Michizane: Another friend of mine, I met in the dunes. He's always good for advice or just generally talking too.

Prudan. An awesome thf, and one that I've had the privelege of grouping with many times. He's witty and brings about a sense of fun the partying environment.

Isengard. Another really good thf, I've grouped with him a few times, very nice guy^^

Nekosakura. Neko is another player that goes to back when I had just gotten my subjob, I've grouped with him often and recommend him as an excellent DRK.

Whren: I don't know Whren too well through the game, but what she has to say in the Paladin forums is very helpful and
insightful.

This is the start of my list, but is in no way complete, I may have not mentioned a few, but you know who are. I'll be sure to add more later. =)

I'd like to second Prudan, who's helped me with two of my AF items.


And Sascha: a ranger from the Windshire forum who's helped me with virtually every major quest I've done and a couple of missions.

Mashengo is someone I see helping random AF quests and missions, which puts him high in my book.
Berrykins is another that is always helpful and friendly.

There are a number of others, but I'd be here all day if I listed all of them.

i'd like to pretty much thank the guys in my static PT, and my LS Uber. they're some of the finest players and best friends i could get to talk to and party with in this game.

Matron and Allraune: the 2 best PLD's i've had the pleasure to do anything with.

Melkor: my best friend IRL, for actually learning how to play DRK correctly, and making us midgardsormr's best kept killing duo secret.

Itsuke: for keeping me fed with kabobs, having prelude ready, and teaching me how to skillchain in qufim.

Brody: for helping me with my sub job all those months ago, and joining up with my light warrior static idea.

Interloper: for having an unspoken ranger pissing contest with me, and making me strive to be better, harder, faster, and stronger.

Tofu: for making me have to be Tofubot, now people rarely forget my name ;).

there's a lot more people who've helped me in this game, their names are many, and my time is sparse.

I'd like to mention my favorite squirt Sirneehi. ^^ He's very knowledgeable and he likes to help people out. ^_^

Hey Lilf, this is Dymphna :).

Oawenisou: Who says Galka can't be good mages? Best WHM I know, bar-none. He helped me TONS when I was starting the game. A great guy, in game and out. Always willing to help out.

Xilera: A great THF, and a really nice girl as well. Champion fisher and chef :). While mentioning her, I might as well mention...

Skoralora: Great BLM, just dinged 75 recently (Grats Skora). Also always is willing to help out a friend.

Murakumi: One of the nicest guys I know, has helped me almost as much as Oawenisou in this game. A great PLD, even if he is a bit of a stickler in some things (Yes, Nin CAN tank Mura :P ).

Morrigan: Also wonderfully nice, a champion of levelling well...everything. Give her a hand and invite her if you see her, she's levelling DRG now >.<.

Aravil: A really nice guy, and somehow insanely good at gilfarming. Nothing too high-levelled. But what he does have he plays well.

I haven't been helping people out that much so my name isn't spoken of very often nowadays ^^;;

Discordian -- my rdm idol. grumpy, cynical, yet always there through wind and rain. Does an awesome job of rdm with his monster enfeebling, holds my ls together, and refuses to give up on anything. My inspiration to keep trekking through things even when it looks and feels like everything is going to fall apart.

Lemieux -- one of the best plds skill-wise that I've ever known. Kites HNMs flawlessly without crimson cuisses even, even I haven't managed to do that. Awesome nin tank too as well, and very giving and considerate.

Kunekaden -- sour and sarcastic but one of the greatest brds I've ever known skill-wise. Also has more than 500mp as a brd <_<a;;

Corvus -- my drk idol~ knows what to do, and when, and how.

Isi -- I've never seen any whm serve so much. Trustworthy, reliable whm who's always there to raise, heal, help.

Holt -- Best thf I've ever duoed with -- knows how to react to emergency situations quickly and efficiently. Never ever breaks a promise when he makes one, and sticks to his word 200% of the time. Shoulders responsibilities as they need to be shouldered and does what needs to be done. The person who taught me about living life, giving whole-heartedly without expecting any returns, and the person who made me who I am today. Also my sweetheart. :)

please, is this really nessecary? there's over 4000 people on this server (possibly way more), only a small few are going to be recognized by the individuals that inhabit this board. i've never met you in game, so i can't tell if you're an awesome player and a great chap, or if you're a total jerkass that doesn't know a provoke from a /poke.

i'll probably never get mentioned here either. but you know what? when i play i still have a great time (unless i'm falling asleep behind my keyboard while being made to tank pugs at lvl 15), and every party i'm in, i try to shine and up productivity.

my friends don't post here, but it doesn't mean i'm gonna be booty hurt cos i'm not gonna have someone pat me on the back and go "<Ranger>Tofubot = <Impossible to Gauge>.

in closing, i wanna thank julyah, incase our paths meet in vana'diel, i want it to be pleasant and memorable. and that you will find it in your heart to buy me 8 stacks of scorpion arrows.

I think I got everyone but darn got 3 lvls with them and almost a 4th and we even movered locations. Good humor all clicked generally well it was awsome I so can't wait to party with them again!

ok I'm gonna be silly and say Berrykins, but I've known her since I met her in Beta where she made a great WHM.(she's also lots of fun too)

As for the rest of you I started with the PS2 edition and somepeople already think I make a killer thief...well see ya online somewhere!

If you've ever met this guy then you know how nice of a guy he is and he is usually always going to help you if he can.

ok, I wanted to edit my above post and second Vlad nomination of Koel, but things kinda got whacked and it didn't edit.
Anywho, I second Koel, he's an awesome PLD and very helpful.

I just have a few...people who have helped with AF and maybe some other stuff. I wish I could remember ALL the peeps, but I cant, so sorry if you have helped me and I dont mention you.

Beatupeverythng - By far the nicest person in-game I have met. Helps almost everyone in our LS. He is a level 70 pld and still stays in our shell to help out and sh*t...very nice guy.

Jody - Another person from our shell. Helped me with AF2 and offered to help me with garliage key, but I couldnt come :(
Also see him helping others with random stuff.

Mskat - helped me with CN part of AF2...and died :( Talk about feeling horrible. level 63 or something when it happened. Still feel sorry for that one.

Tusurusu - Really cool person...says it how it is. Done some BCNM's with him and some eldieme stuff...anyone who will go there with you is definitely a friend.

Isengard - AF1 help

Falconcc - RSE and just fun to goof off with.

Hawkes - Havent seen this guy in forever, but damn, he has to be one of the best bards for BCNM 40. Also hooked us up with food.

Wish I could remember everyone else who has been kind enough to help me out bc sometimes it is so hard to get good help these days. If I forgot ya, Im sorry and nothing personal...its 2:15 am and Im mad that FF is down!!! =P
