Hey server, I'm a player from ages ago and recently I'm trying to log back on to consider playing again but having a bit of a connection issue. I recently installed POL and FFXI on my pc, everything went smooth until I wanted to update FFXI. I click "Play" and it preps for the update then I get 0/0 for a moment then I get a screen with "ERROR: POL-1158". I've called tech support, I've tried port forwarding, also tried "Run as Admin" and tried "Run as Windows XP". My last attempt I gut my entire network and patched directly into the modem. I'm at a loss. I keep getting this same error.

Windows 7 ultimate
2.4 core 2 duo
ATI HD 4350 - 1gb

Vista and 7 requires a specific version of POL viewer to be able to run. It can be downloaded from Playonline site, should be under downloads.

Then I don't know. Might be some connection/network problems. Although it's robably not related to the Steam client you'll probably be better off contacting Steam support than SE support.
