what is the website that is similar to like a facebook where players from all servers will go on and add a pic and can comment in others profiles?

rpg faces? if that is the one, it was taken down sometime ago. No money, no traffic = dead site.

Was donations, but basically as the popularity of FFXI declined the traffic did too, so google adds pulled out and basically the domain died do to lack of funds. Or at least thats what the rumor is.

no it wasn't guildwork.com, and the website i'm talking of was huge! i forget the name.. rpg somepage.... but it would have been nice too keep in touch with everyone in-game from where i am.

Thats what I was thinking too, part of RPGfaces network iirc. I had an account there like 6 years ago, but its been a long time.
