I really can't stand people on this game... I was in a Trial group today to kill Lumbering Lambert for Katana trial. It's an annoying NM that needs Wide Scan to kill. I join the group and everyone but the leader, Ginjuice, is afk. The minute I join he "has to go to work." I D/C at one point and send tells to all of them that I need back in, but no answer. Lambert spawns, I wait another 5mins for reply, and then kill. The others come back from being afk half an hour later and remake the party with me, and what do you know, Ginjuice comes back from his "work shift" an hour and a half later. I even let them know I got the kill and the TOD but they were all AFK and couldn't invite me.
I tell Atickly I'm going to bed and pass her leadership after doing the work for them for 5 hours and come back to this:

I've ran into Ginjuice/Pimpjuice multiple times over the course of doing...whatever, and none of the experiences I've had with him have ended well. Selfish, inconsiderate, a braggart, etc. Basically just an individual that you want to try and deal with as little as possible, because whenever you do have to deal with him, it just causes headaches and drama. I'm sorry you had to deal with him, and hopefully you won't run into him again during any of your later trials.

I actually took a break from trials just so I wouldn't have to deal with him again, let him get a few trials ahead. He's apparently built 6 Empys in the past with the help of my friend, and as soon as my friend wanted to build his and asked for help in return, he was always "too busy." Sad to still see players like this around.
One thing I really don't like about this Trials stuff is the fact everyone goes afk and just relies on other people to do the work for them. Trial after trial the past 2 weeks I've had people ask me to team up and just stand there the whole time. Had I not killed PHs, we wouldn't have gotten anywhere all day. Coming back to this game last summer I thought the whole HNMLS selfish mindframe (pretty much why I quit) died out with the new style of playing, but I guess I was wrong. All I see is leech leech leech and me me me. Really glad I found a few friends in my shell now who are always there for each other and not about getting stuff for themselves only.

Been going to school, and going crazy alternatively. It's been a pretty terrible time since I quit, makes abyssea seem a lot better in comparison.
