That fix to the market wards hasn't changed much, really. I'm not playing it until they fix the wards or implement an AH.

I've been playing one and off and since they expanded the free play I'll give them until the end of November to make some major fixes or I'm out for a bit myself.

Probably not until after it stops sucking.
Kinda hoping it starts getting a more enthusiastic approval from the mmo communities. Pretty sure I am waiting for ps3 release.

Then again, its how I picture every post here.

Funny, because I just picture Don LaFontaine.

There's far too much FFXIV talk here. You're only forgiven because most of it is negative. Smiley: laugh

TBH, with my new mobo and processor I could run the game pretty smooth now. Still no urge to try it with everything I've been hearing. Also, as I've said many times; I'm 32 and not half-bad to look at, but single. I'm not sure another MMO is the wisest of life decisions.

You say that as if being single is a bad thing.

Eventually I'll need someone to change my incontinency diapers.

Use the money you save being single to pay someone to do that.

Touché

There's so much truth to that, it's not even funny. I've dated plenty in my days, and a couple of them were fairly long-term. Having a girlfriends is, by far, the most costly expense I've ever had. Now that I'm single I can afford a nice apartment, the furnishings to go in it, food that's not on a dollar menu, a payment on a nice car, and even satisfy my gaming habit.

Hey, sorry I fell off the face of the planet a while ago. The fan that cools my computer's CPU is broken so it constantly overheats, so I canceled my subscription while I look for a job now that I'm out of college/fix my computer. How is everyone doing? Is level 85 as cool as it sounds on the forums? Is FFXI "dieing"? Does anyone else think onion rings are massively underrated?

Answer 1: No I don't think FFXI is dieing, I'm starting to think that 14 was made to be so bad to drive people in droves back to XI to recature the thrill since there isn't one in 14.

Answer 2: I love a good onion ring and I hate onions. They can't be those ****** ones from Burgerking though. They have to be real battered onion rings to be any good.

Managing time to get a defined work schedule before fully playing again.. campaign battles fell flat after bastion so if you started abyessa and took months break let us know how many stones you got to see if theres a cap. 85 gave us more tools/godly armor to play with.. I want pup af3+2 now but going need to find a small abyessa group doing nms..

One look at =10 should answer this question. Under the stickies, 6 out of the first 10 posts are 'returning player' or 'quitting XIV for XI' threads.

God I hate Seriha or w/e, ******* moran. If I could jump through the computer and maim one person it would probably be that utterly retarded individual. Why do people assume RDM needs a melee buff or better gear. Stupid morans the whole lot of them.

Hey Chew, you have an Esword? and/or a BD?

I was kidding about the dying thing, I think it's pretty obvious FFXIV was just a red herring for FFXI's flaws, designed to make the game seem more attractive. With Cataclysm and the next Abyssea update coming in December I'm having a rough time deciding which game I should come crawling back to. The AF3 sure does look pretty though.
