So Its good and dead, i got some options but the best one seems to be.

buy the Ultimate collection and download into laptop i'm using atm, my question is..

Has anyone done this? I would think i just download, throw in Killdor's info to log in, and start playing. Anyone see any problems with that plan?
PS3 is another option, but im unemployed atm, and the used shop has old style PS2's i could reload discs on also but PS2 is sooooo 90's.

Any new PS3 systems would not do you any good anyway, as they are not backward compatible.

As for the question at hand, I played primarily on PS3, but always had a backup copy on my laptop. Recently, my PS3 died, but I am able to seamlessly continue to play because of my PC copy. The only mistake I made, was not backing up my macros to the server, as I was never intending to have to use my PC copy for than a few days at a time.

So I suggest doing just that. Download or purchase the discs for the PC, and log in with your old info (don't even need the reg codes or anything from the new copy for that matter, unless you're getting and using new expansions with it). You could even just borrow a PC copy from someone if you know anyone that has it.
