Need help..cant connectFollow

For the last 2-3 days ive been unable to connect to the game. My internet is working fine as im currently on my comp now. I usually just move the ethernet cable to my ps2 and it starts up(been doin it this way for years). After i put in my password it goes to connect but stays at the screen for like 5 minutes before giving me an error message..usually POL-1040 or POL-0020 and saying no response from server. I do run off of a router is it makes a difference which it shouldn't since ive been playing for a few years now and this is the first problem i've had. Any suggestion or help would be greatly appreciated.

Yea im in buffalo and even my comp is running slower than usual. maybe ill just give it a day or 2 since i got some other things to do anyway and then ill give them a call. Thx for the update that time warner is having preoblems and it isnt just me
