totally not interested in Salvage, I've got a snowball's chance in hell of ever being able to afford to upgrade an armor piece so there's no point in my going.

However. Fynlar is working on his Morrigan's bodypiece. I forget, because I'm a feeb if he's got all the pieces for it yet, last I heard he needed the piece from long-bowed chariot but that was a while ago. I know for a fact he's got the 35piece though. I point you in his direction because he's a "damned wacky Hawaiian", and your run times might be convenient for him. I'd simply tell him about your post in-game, but I'm stranded from the game until mid-july, due to being on vacation @ my parents' house where the satellite interbutts is almost too slow to reliably browse forums, let alone play any mmorpgs.

Best of luck recruiting him, if you do try. And HI FYN if you happen to come to this thread. :D

Hm, that sounds interesting. Does it matter how often a member runs? I think it'd be a bit difficult for me to go on the weekdays (and maybe the Saturday and occasional Sunday), but if you don't mind me coming along for the ride every once in a while, I promise I'll do my best to keep you healed and affliction free. :3

HI VEE

I actually got my 25 piece some time ago. Huzzah!

I only need the 15 (and about 10 million gil /sigh) but I am thinking that I should be able to get it with the social shell if I really pester them enough. I've just been in no real hurry because... that gil will take a long time to make, especially with me trying to make 75s out of THF and DRG (although I am hoping that doing so will open some gil-making opportunities for me)

lol, well so much for THAT idea, then. :P

In that case, OP, best of luck finding folks for your group. xD

I may possibly be interested. Have to see how it would fit in with summertime stuff.

imo, salvage is actually one of the better end game activity. no need 18+ people, not need to camp 3hr NM, no need to wait until people finish the zone, no need to spend 3hr in zone, etc. other than the next to 0% drop rate for 35lvl item, its not too bad. its just requires 100 minutes of full attention, non-afk, style of playing, a lot of dedication, and patience of a saint waiting for item to complete.

i don't think going once a week will be beneficial since drop rate is not very friendly, could take forever for pieces to drop. if you can make 3 or so, let me know. its nice to have a static group so can work out kinks and whatnot as to improve.

(the body piece is insanely expensive, but the other are manageable to a point)
