RMT tells >.<Follow

Yup, it seems like everytime im in up sky I get a couple. been going on for like 4-5 months now

They really advertise through /tells now? Wow, a new low. That's really sad.

I havn't gotten tells just messages proly close to 12 now since the begining of last fall

Everyone in my party got one, except for me.

I feel so left out.

As a new father I can say this is about 5 per day. :)

People say they do a /sea of an area, then just go down the list. I believe that's true, because I seem to get more of these tells than any of my friends. And it's getting worse.

The last week or so, I've been averaging 4-5 a day. >.<

They don't vote Shykre?

I keep getting grassed, so I cant be RMT. My family is not grassed

Needing help to calculate DKP: -50 DKP

Right now I'm imagining people plucking out clumps of grass and flinging it angrily at Shykre wherever he goes.


(Pretty sure that's not right, though.)

Long story somewhat short, and possibly somewhat butchered from my crippled memory:

1) Couple guys are in Sacrarium for some reason. They come across RMT fighting Elel, a corse NM that only shows up in the maze area during dark weather. Why on earth RMT would camp that piece of crap (the drops are lame and the environment that it spawns in is rather unforgiving as well) is anyone's guess.
2) Corses, if you didn't know, can charm players.
3) One of the RMTs, presumably their tank, gets charmed, and the two guys take the opportunity to PK him. As a result of this, the RMT gradually start to wipe, leaving Elel at 1%.
4) The guys claim the weakened Elel and easily finish it off. (I believe they scored some Magical Mitts!)
5) The guys head off to do whatever it was they went to Sacrarium for in the first place, and at some point while they are fighting something else, one of the RMTs sends them a tell:

"My grass you entire family"

After some lulz careful analysis from the Alla community, it was determined that the most likely intended meaning was something along the lines of "I'll bury your entire family in my front/back yard" (presumably, the yard has grass in it, and the yard belongs to them, therefore it is "their" grass)

And that, as they say, was that.

Interestingly enough, the Japanese on-yomi is the same for both 草 and 操. They're both read as "sou"... Although, I don't think you'll see the Japanese using 操 as an insult any time soon. :P

Also, it's apparent that Kysha has been beating down her half RMT Chinese heritage by playing on the Japanese FFXI client and hanging out with Japanese linkshells.
