This thread sucks and is now about pancakes
How much syrup do you guys put on your pancakes? For the big fluffy ones, I tend to use one of those little syrup packets for each pancake. Anything less than that, and the pancakes taste too dry (particularly, the ones in the middle).
Of course, at home, I have this big bottle of syrup instead of those little syrup packets, so it's a little bit harder to measure how much I'm using.

I like pancakes sometimes without syrup, meh. I also like to make pancakes the size of whatever pan I'm making them on, which usually requires 2 or sometimes 3 spatulas (requires a partner).
Funny story, a long time ago my mom bought the 'perfect pancake maker' and she didn't know how to flip it so when she turn it slowly all the batter fell out on to the stove and immediately burned, hilarious.

I always use enough syrup that the pancakes soak it up, then still leave a nice layer swimming around the bottom of the plate. This is necessary for sopping at the end. I'll add more if needed.
I don't tell many people this. But once in college shortly after my girlfriend and I broke up, I had sex with a pancake.
Too bad we already have a president elect and an army strong of more than 2000 tarus that will chew your ankles and then all of our galkas (about 20 of them) will pounce on you.

I'm more of a french toast kind of guy myself. The secret is to lightly indent the center of your french toast with your fork, so it acts as a pool for your syrup to be held. It is quite delicious.

I do believe they just implied a sausage filled pancake... BRILLIANT! (I might change sausage to bacon though, and while I'm at it I'm going to change the pancake to bacon too... Bacon filled Bacon!)
