Sadly, that could only serve to get those people GM'd, and possibly suspended/banned.

If I'm going to get banned, I want to get banned for something something spectacular! Something that will keep people talking about me (in the good way) long after I'm gone. A /poke spamfest is not it.

So is the avoid Valdan like the plague on Lakshmi dead? I had an invite on Cor the other day and he was in the party. I was forced to leave, but no one else seemed to care.


Lakshmi has had its share of bad people and still does. But no matter how public these events are, I still see those people succeeding in dynamis, endgame, finding parties, etc. And what seems worse, is that these people seem to do better than "honest" people more often than I care to think about it.

Perhaps I'm just crazy though.

It's not dead. It's just that not everyone reads Allakhazam, and this is probably just one of many FFXI websites people can go to. The people that party with Valdan usually don't know how horrible of a person he is. I imagine he doesn't ***** over his very close friends (or doesn't ***** them enough that they notice).

Actually ive seen people partying with him, and when i tell him hes a thief they just say "I know".. People would rather party with him for the EXP than make a stand against A**holes like him.

I'm not at all shocked by that. I've heard many people with the attitude, "I don't care if he's screwed other people over, as long as he hasn't screwed me over yet."

The other day I randomly thought of this thread and typed /sea all Valdan. Turns out he was in Attowah, so I sent him a /tell (he's never met me before) that said, "Someone's about to lose a Perseus's Harpe, huh?" then blacklisted him, because I really don't care how he responded.

I was in Whitegate earlier this week and heard a random /shout attacking Valdan for something, don't even remember what the attack was but I started lmao after a thought about this thread popped into my head and about what has been said inside it. I thought to myself, Wow... this dude must have really been a **** to a lot of people, lol.

Nothing funny here, just a random thought that popped into my thick, Galkan head. Carry on with tha lolz people! ^_^

I joined a ZNM run couple days ago and I saw him in the group so I told them I would not be helping because that gear stealer is in the group and left...shortly after up said he left right after I said that and to come back...

Its funny how he just runs away when people call him a thief...guess add coward to it also :)

I was listening to a couple of people I know saying that they saw him shouting for some BCMN/ZNM/something-NM. They agreed to join him.. so they could D2 him before the loot distributed. Normally, I'd say that's pretty low, but this guy deserves everything he gets (or doesn't get).

Apparently, stealing drops must be very profitable cuz I noticed he had the last purchase on enfeebling earring (1.3 mill) and a few other high $ drops on the AH the other day looking for gear for my BLM. I guess he must be duping people still for loots. Oh well.... >.<;

He recently sold 2 Toreador's Rings for 3mil a piece this week. Whether they were his or not, je ne sais pas, but that'll explain the spending splurge.

Another one:

Apparently recently, Valdan coerced some people into helping him get a Sea cape, including someone from my HNM ls. I'm not sure which Ix'Aern it was ... but they worked out a deal where, if it dropped, Valdan would get the cape, but if a deed dropped instead, someone else would get it.

(Sorry I don't know the specifics of the deal, I just know how it ended...)

A deed dropped. Needless to say, Valdan got the deed.

Half the stuff you see posted about this guy is crap made up by people who don't like his elitist attitude.
