It would have been an oh snap moment if the person I thought I was talking was a gender confused cat. Unfortunately, it was a non-gender confused hume. :\ A delicious ankle producing hume...

Oh look, I have yet another Valdan story so that we can lol muchly at him. I do hope Lakshmi enjoys our little tale!

So there we were, my dear Chewzer and myself, in Gustav Tunnel camping the stingy bat Bune. Unfortunately for us, Valdan was there with a partner - both RDM/NINs - camping against us. It was a wondrous portrait of clock-watching and getting spam /checked by our favourite Elvaan.

Chew and I get claim and start whittling down Bune slowly but carefully. Despite Valdan standing up in my face whilst I was tanking it, it was going pretty well.

Evidently, as it was approaching 25%~ he was getting a little desperate.

All of a sudden, he casts Protect on me and proceeds to gather up as many mobs as possible. Bune danced a little bit; I was getting a little nervous; but otherwise, no big deal.

It became fairly obvious what he was trying to do. He let the mobs hit him repeatedly and started to spam cures on himself, trying to take hate from me. I was getting a little concerned as I started to lag a bit, but I kept my composure and carried on whittling away.

Bune uses Dread Shriek. Oh mighty paralysis. Now that he was on our hate list, he ate the paralysis and started to panic as his cures were getting paralyzed. It eventually wore off. However, I guess he got low on MP or something, so without any protection at all, he Converted and was promptly one-shotted by one of his many mobbie friends.

Lulz were had. Bune died. I do so enjoy a happy ending. And how ironic that he should MPK himself. Lesson learned: /blockaid is now permanently up.

I'm sure Chewzer will follow up my post with screenshots.

I often go for stretches without showing up on an AH, particularly a Jeuno one. I sell most stuff through mules unless I'm just way too busy to change. Most of what I buy regularly from an AH is consumables, which can easily last me a week or more with what I do.

Who needs to buy it, when he just steals what he wants anyway.

Maybe it was a three day suspension?

Oh weve known for a while Valdan is a jackass (see the OP date) but he just keeps adding icing on the cake.

Its kinda like of our weekly thing: "What did Valdan do?"

This week he failed at MPKing.

Valdan is now in my dynamis linkshell. >.<;
I was like, uh, how long has he been in the shell for? I had missed the previous 2 runs due to work, so I was totally confused. It was his first run as it turns out. And he was hanging out in the BLM party for instant D2. Although, I don't know how they're going to prevent a ninja lot/steal if he casts lot 10 seconds before the treasure drops... I'm pretty sure he's perfected the art of stealing.

Just a note, due to the way Dynamis works, being kicked from a party does not prevent you from lotting. Dynamis has one global treasure pool for everyone in the zone, and anyone who is in there can lot on it regardless of what party they are in, or if they're in a party at all. Reason for this is because you can have multiple alliances in the zone, and everything is freely attackable by multiple alliances. (Because of this, I'm thinking Einherjar works the same way, but not sure.)

In short, he could avoid D2 by disbanding party, and then there would be nothing to stop him from ninja lotting. Only surefire way to prevent it is to not let him enter the zone at all.
