Watch Out For BERTHUROFollow

RL thief Berthuro stole my Emperor's Hairpin! >_< Thought he was a cool guy, attempted CoP 2-5 with him several times, lent him my hairpin after he prrrrrrooooooomised to give it back, it was just for the mission. Look out for this guy don't lend him ANYTHING! I would apprieciate it if you excluded him from any pt's too ^_^ Warn your LS's warn your friends! This guy's a real jerk, I never even made him pay for the X-potions and other items I gave him for CoP 2-5 ;_; the jerk...

Moral of the story: never lend these kinds of items. If you don't truly know this person, then you should never trust him or her with these things.

Berthuo is the most pathetic piece of **** thieving asscrab the game's seen in a long while.

Don't party with him.

Don't help him.

Don't tele him.

Kill him if you see him in ballista.

Don't help him with ANYTHING. And if he offers you money, take the money up front and disband. He deserves it.

I am, after all, the one who's Hauberk he stole. 6.5 million gil, months of farming and saving up and working my *** off...and he steals hours upon hours of my life away in a second.

The story?

One day, a level 61 Warrior named Berthuo in my linkshell (then, I believe, wings of destiny or some crap) sent a /tell to me. 'Can I borrow that Hauby you have when I get past 65 to fight maat?' me: "It's a Hauberk, so it's level 69, you wouldnt be able to wear it until then' him: "oh, thanks anyway"

A while later...level 69 Berthuo asks me again "You think I could please borrow your hauberk for maat fight? I need every edge I can get"...After talking to him for a while about how big of a deal it is to let something like that go...I let him. I trade him my hauberk AND Berserker's axe so he'd have the best chance possible. He says, and I quote: "DON'T WORRY, I'M NOT ****** UP LIKE THAT LIKE SOME PEOPLE" We get to Rulude gardens...and he says he forgot the Testimony.

So, he trades the Hauberk and the Berserker's Axe back to me as a show of faith-well over 10 million worth. I was impressed at this point and thought he was actually honest. Comes back with testimony. Says he only need hauberk, not the axe. I trade it to him again. He says he'll send it back to me right after. I go to a pt I was invited to to get some merits.


A day passed. No hauberk in in-box. I send him /tells. No response, though he's on and changes areas several times so I know he got the /tells and wasnt AFK. I contact a GM. They ask what time it happened and they say they'll look at the chat log and they'll see what they can do and if they can punish him. Of course as you've guessed by now nothing happens. 3 days passed. A week. 2 weeks. I send him tells all the time and say anything from asking if he'd please have some honor and send back what I earned and he didnt...to telling him what a pathetic piece of **** he is straight out.


So...he's a dishonest piece of **** who deserves the worst a lot of people can imagine...and at the very least to be banned or not helped at all.


I ask you...please dont help him, pt with him, have anything to do with him-don't invite him, tell leaders not to invite him. Let him know what people think of ********* like him. And if you can...find out his login info and destroy his character. Just kidding...or am I? >.>

Without turning this into a deep religious debate, I was once an active Christian, now I'm not sure what I am. I do know that I don't like any form of ideals being forced upon me be it Christian or Non-Christian. I also believe that if someone feels happy with the belief that they have in a faith, then so be it, let them do what they will and don't try to interfere with them.

This is a game, this game has it's own religions, it's an escape from the real world, I wish people would try not to bring real world religions and other issues into this fake world.
