So its 5:00 AM, and my party in Ru'aun Gardens just disbanded, shortly after reaching level 66. I warp back to Jeuno, and decide to activate the quest for limit break 5. I look in my mog safe, and see that beautiful testimony just sitting there, and I just think, what the hell.
I head over to the old man, and trade him my testimony. Boring cutscene, blah-blah-blah. I end up outside the BCNM. I trade my testimony to the circle, and select "Shattering Stars".
And so it begins...
As a level 66 BLM, with mediocre equipment, no food, no drinks, no supplies... on Lightsday, half asleep, I enter the fight.
I use Ice Spikes, and run up to him. I quickly casted Flare, which was luckally unresisted. He then starts to cast Flood, which I stun, and then Elemental Seal + Sleep 2 him. Following this, I use my own Flood, because of the water-weakened state he was currently in(Flare). Alas, another unresisted AM. Maat comes at me, and uses Manafont, choosing to cast Poisonga 2. Following this, he uses Bind, and I await my doom.
But, to my surprise, he doesn't come up to melee me. What does the old fool do? "Maat starts casting Flood on Neejee." I quickly stun Flood, and hit my own Manafont. I regather myself, and cast Waterga 3, and the weak old man gives up to a 33 damage, completely resisted spell.
Maat, you disapoint me, truly. 1/15/06, 5:37 AM- Maat Masher
