OMG! A lot of you may not care but I just had to, I'm so excited!

After like, 500 Freezes getting recovered from his regen, twice as many Bio 2's, and one finishing Burst, I finally did it!

I am on PS2, so I had to take it with my cellphone; Sorry for the bad picture...

BUT OMG!

Now, what to do with that axe... ~.^;

In all my excitement, I forgot to say why this was actually impressive...I'm only lvl 62.

I tried doing that with Atii (sp?) at Lv50.... it was too hairy for me to do...

Actually, I tried the Bio 2/zone stuff, like I did for Miser Murphy, but I almost got a bunch of people killed...

So I just found him, Bio 2'ed him, and ran around in a circle until he lost aggro. After he went yellow(Bio was up, so no regen), I would Freeze him, and then kite him until he went yellow. I'd do that, switching in Aspir for Freeze to get MP back.

Then finished him with Burst, as you can see in the picture.

Interesting, was this with WHM or RDM sub? Just thinking that if Gravity stuck to it, the fight might be abit safer. Pity about no cloth these days, but just wondering about that Axe.. no real use to a BST, but I would still love to have it.

I used WHM sub, and a gimp one at that.

Soloing AQ at BLM62/WHM25 made it much harder; Had to do it without Stoneskin and Protect 2. @_@;;

The 60s are a dry period for 1HAxes as any WAR/NIN can tell you. The DPS of francisca makes it a solid weapon ignoring its obvious advantage to ranged attack. Adding to this is the fact that it is FREE makes it an appealing option, even to a BST.

Krabakens and Wrath Taber are both insanely strong axes however.

Congrats neej!

I just soloed him for the first time last week, it was pretty amazing, I actually couldnt tell he had regen, didnt seem like it. Little did I know he didnt drop cloth anymore, so I invited a WAR in for the last 2% so he could take the axe. I had pretty much the same reaction when I killed him. When I saw him it was more like "Hmm lets see how long I can last against him"

Aquarius has no regen but if it turns to yellow, it will regen back its hp. I think that's what Neejee meant with Aquarius regen. :)

This mob is a cruel joke by SE, since the same exact day I dinged the level on thf that I could solo AQ they took the cloth away.

I cried a single salty teardrop that day.
