I was fishing on my Mithra mule when an Elvaan male sat next to. Then comes a /t asking if I cyber, didn't ask if I was male or female or anything else. My response was Sorry I dont cyber with elvaan males and he stands and runs off. Not 3 mins later another /t saying... "I slowly run my hand up your thigh".
I noticed the name was simialar to the elf and promptly responded.." do me a favor and scratch my b*lls while your there". Suddenlt I get a /t again saying I am a sick Bast*rd, perv etc etc. So just remember that cute mithra just might be a man.

LMFAO! omg thats just TOO funny!! I-however AM a female irl, and as many female players I'm SURE can tell you, this happens FAR too often. I had this guy that everytime he saw me on would start that crap with me, the problem was he started out as a friend, a very good friend in fact, then became...umm 'weird', and me being too nice, never knew how to respond to it, but always felt violated in a very odd way(silly to say I know). Wonderful come back!

P.S. I no longer talk to this person at ALL. (so Connery PLZ calm down!)

It makes me wonder about people sometimes.

I had one incident while pissing around on a Mithra THF I made. Met up with one guy who was in my LS, he befriended me to. All fine, no worries about that.

Anyway hadnt actually talked in ages, one day when I was muling on that mithra, I get a /tell

Him: havnt seen you in awhile
Me: Not bad, yeah its been forever how have you been? ^^
Him: /em kisses you

>.<

Anyway. Yeah, WTF indeed.

It'd be awesome if I hit on an Elvaan guy and it happens to be a girl offline.

I have no idea but I'd be more comfortable marrying a character played by a straight female, and in that sense I'd be certain that we're good friends and nothing on the edge of pervertedness or that...weird...online dating idea.

Unfortunately only several girls play FFXI, and if they do, they're most likely tagged by some guy who wants to marry them ingame. I wouldn't have a problem if guys married each other either. As long as they both know that they're either both gay or both straight, who'd know? Who'd care?

And to those who cyber. Please don't. I'd appreciate it because I don't have to worry about some random person stalking me. It's just plain creepy.

But then again... I'm the one stalking the men usually...heh...heh...

hehe, one time oh so long ago when i was lvling smn in Ronfaure, an elvaan male came up to me and started harassing me with /em. /em kisses you. /em slaps your butt. i wont go any further into what he did, cause its rather inappropriate. needless to say, i blisted him. (i had to log out for the night because he wouldnt stop the /em). I think its weird to hit on ppl in game, and these ppl especially should realize that some mithra, as much as they would like otherwise, are not being played by girls IRL.

It's not just Mithra's.

When I started creating mules (I have 3) I wanted something nice to look at so all my mules are hume females, tall, blonde, and in subligar/leather etc. (Appologize if this offends anyone Smiley: oyvey please no offense was meant).

Anyway, I want my mules to be at least level 7-10 for the gear and access to areas.

I have been hit on sooo many times in party. It's not just /em. It's lots of /tell's too.

I want to appologize to all of the women playing this game because there are alot of sick guys out there.

btw, I am always respectfull in game and in rl.

Ahh....maybe this is why I play girl tarutaru's. (And besides, they're so darn cute!)

As a female IRL, I have witnessed friends (both female and male IRL) in game be sexually harrassed or stalked by other characters. I've never really experienced this type of unwanted attention until I tried it out for myself, by making a mithran mule and playing her thief outside of Bastok on our server. That was an eye opening experience, since I started to get /tells and such, even as a 2nd level "newbie". I then continuted my little experiment by making a hume female character on a different server...by the time I got to level 6, I had already pearls to three different linkshells.

I'll play my little girl tarutaru, thank you very much. It's probably better that way anyway, since I'm enjoying the different mage classes in this game.

Bottom line is, you just don't know who is behind the character...

pardon my moment of dumbness...

but what can people possibly hope to achieve by stalking people in a game

I mean.. come on... I don't get harrassed much but then again I play BST so I'm typically not near parties much anyway.. the few times it's happened I simply /blist them...

the first idiot to try to follow me around I'll run so deep into the dunes it's not funny then Trick II-warp out and let them deal with the swarm of gobbies along the way back.

oh I rated the OP up cause I got my morning funny-ha-ha laugh for the day.. thanks :)

Ah...clearification seems to be in order here. Vawn, Connery is not only my baby in game, but irl as well, and he tends to be very protective of me both irl and on game. I was just stopping him from posting over a subject he didn't have prior knowledge of. Sorry for the confusion, I just want to clear his name before someone approaches him in game and gets a earful.

Ok, im sure many ppl know who i am. My characters name is Bastila, a female hume. i used to get hit on by lame dudes left and right. until the one day i decided to put something in my bazaar comment, im sure youve seen it if youve examined me, <not a female player>. happy to say most of the harrasing stopped. but there are those really lame dudes who say i put that so i wouldnt be bothered, and still bug me. also happy to say its mainly low lvls so i can train on them. yes im getting married ingame, to a galka played by a girl, funny huh. anyway i appologize to you real girls for those guys who are just plain dumb.

Bastila, when I first talked to you (in LS), I thought you were a guy, but when I first met your character (in Horutoto Ruins), you were a girl.

Really, I think people should actually think when they hit on characters. I mean, some people make it obvious of their gender just by their "text personality."

However. I will admit that when I saw a mithra, I thought he was a girl for a LONG long time. lol in fact, I still call him "she" whenever I'm referring to him. XD

But. Really, Bastila is a guy, come on now people. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. =P
