Sticky Threads For Our Server Forum?Follow

Some of the other forums (server, jobs, main, etc.) have sticky threads. After seeing the 4th World Pass request in past couple days (& TenMiles jump to the rescue!!!) I was thinking maybe we need a couple stuck threads?

I'm not sure how exactly you go about it, but thought I would post a few suggestions:

1. World Pass Request
2. Lets get a Whitelist!
3. Bad Players Alerts! (I don't think one should but it avoids any bad player repetive threads)
4. Looking for Static Party! (there's been a couple of these this week too)
5. The one with all the linkshells (can't find it, but it was good)

So those are my suggestions. I'm NOT proposing we sticky all of them. Maybe just 3 of the ones we all think are the best or should be stuck. What do you think? The forum isn't too large yet and many of the threads age off quickly so it might not be entirely necessary.

Oh yeah and ...
6. How Cool is <Insert Player Name>
(just a joke but those threads seem to be fun!)

EDIT: I noticed that I said I was proposing to sticky ALL of them. I meant NOT all of them. :)

Sounds good to me Subarru! (er, Dread Lord Subarru) Most of the threads seem to revolve around the ones you listed, it seems.

Probably the top three ones I'd like to see "stuck" are:
1. Let's Get a Whitelist!
2. World Pass Request Thread
3. Linkshell Thread

we tried to get the ls one stickyd a long time ago, but nvr got any response. maybe we will have better luck this time around. it would be a great thing to have stickyd.

Hmm... OK thanks for mentioning that. Well, if several more people respond and say this is a good idea I'll head over the the Forum System Feedback area and make a request. If not I'll just let it be and assume everyone likes the forum as is. :)

I agree those three threads should be stikied. At the very least, the "linkshells of Lakshmi one" and one of the "I need a worldpass" ones.

I think we're one of the more busier Server forums, so I'd hope the Admin looks into getting our threads stickied.

And Yesh, I'm a positive thinking taru....one of the reasons why I chose those top three threads.

O.o...you're a Baron now Subarru?!?

I also think the sticky threads are a good idea. It would be helpful especially for frequently visited forum threads.

1) Whitelist
2) Bad Players Alerts
3) Linkshells

These 3 would interest me the most, but i'm game for any other goodies!

This is a good list of all the Linkshells that we know of. Its great if you don't have a LS and want to join one or try a new one out.


World Passes For Lakshmi
While there's an official thread for World Passes, we do see our share of requests. We want to help as much as we can and since a lot of us spend time just in our own server it makes sense.

BTW -- I've polled a few of my fellow users on the board and so far quite a few have suggested that this sticky request is a good idea (Sticky Threads For Our Server Forum?)

Its a premium account feature. There are like 20+ titles you can use. I use this site a lot and so I upgraded. The search feature is nice too and as well as being able to have your avatar photo. Smiley: grin

I must say grats to you guys in getting the sticky for this, this is a triumph for Lakshmi becuase everyone once in awhile i look at how many posts and threads there are per server and i am seeing ours slowling catching up on some of the top servers! Lets keep it up!!!
