Hello, I just started logging and though there were rules to follow like mining. I though you never take a spot from from another player once it's been claimed. So I follow this rule out of common respect for my fellow players. Here are a couple of players I have found that do not respect the rights of other loggers.

Happynewyear
But

Some say there were bots?
I asked them why they took other players spots and got no responce.
Happynewyear and But never said a word but rudely took other players spots and mine. Please make a list of these players that ruin the profit for others.

Ok I got a couple comments on this matter.

First of all, HappyNewYear is not a bot. But he is a chinese gil-farmer. In fact, there have been threads about this before -- and not just for the Lakshmi server. In fact, other servers have characters named HappyNewYear (and several other characters that begin with the word Happy). From what I read, they all camp Ghelshba Outpost and hoarde elm logs. Maybe they have moved to other areas now, I don't know. Each server's "happy" loggers only speak chinese.

Now second issue. I disagree with the comment of "stealing" logging points. I don't think another player can steal anything from you. They are not breaking any rules by taking a tree from you. In fact, I really believe this is how SE intended it to be. Ever stop and think why sometimes you just "are not able to log anything"? You didn't lose a hatchet, you just didn't get anything. The only penalty is you have to swing again. Or is it? I believe when you "miss", that tree is open prey. You better swing again quick. In fact, one good reason to invest in field gear is to cut down on these misses. Its a video game. An online one in where parts of the game are cooperative, and others are competitive. Farming, logging, mining, and NM-hunting are parts that are competitive. SE gives jobs ways for players to earn advantages over the compeition. For farming and NM you can use tools such as voke, widescan, flee, ranged attack, etc. For logging you can buy gear that lowers your miss-rate and set up appropriate macros. I know, many people don't see it this way, but I don't think you can blame loggers from taking trees, its all within the rules and is part of the game.
