hello everyone. ive been coming to these forums for awhile and just never put my input in but i love to read up everything. anyways... i was in jeuno about 15 mins ago and i decided to gamble... not normally something i do but figured to go with it. past day or so ive been feelin lucky. so im playing with DODOOK and i bet 5k at first. and lose. then 10k. and lose. then 15k. and lose. so i put a final bid of 20k in and win. he goes to trade then cancels and runs into mog house and F****** logs off... iw ouldnt have even been any money out of his pocket.... this is rediculous. i just want to warn everyone not to trust DODOOK. he might cheat you also. just a heads up to all you nice ppl out there.

well... i wasnt asking for sympathy... was meerly giving out a warning. and i see tons of ppl gambling daily. but w/e ur eyes must look diff ways.
Try playing in safer casinos. Talk with the owner before hand. If youre going to bet 50k tell him you will bet half first and the other half after (this is your main char right?)
Look at the equip of the casino owner. /check him. If he is anon ask him to unanon himself. A lvl 75Nin/Rng wont likely try to ruin his name or be a bad-*** scammer.
Linkpearl... does he have one? That can also be a sign.
But all in all stay away from Casinos. The house will most likely win.

Wow.. you spammed the hell out of Lower Jeuno for hours about Dodook stealing your money... AS IF WE DON'T KNOW!
He had been scamming people all day long its your own fault for gambling. Please stop spamming /sh and forums about it....alot of people know he is a scammer and if you don't know..and choose to gamble. It's no one one's fault but your own if you lose your money.

I've gambled twice, won both times (first time I bid 5k, won 15k, second time I bid 5k, won 10k)
Casinos are a risk (both the odds and the cheaters) but can be fun, I think. Just don't bid an amount of money that you'd sorely miss and make sure it's someone who doesn't look likely to rip you off.

Personally think you shouldn't gamble. You can't gamble get ripped off then complain. Your encouraging some really annoying people. If theres profit to be made out of shouting "GAMBLEZ WITH ME YOU PEOPLEZ FOR 10K PLZ AND I'LL DOUBLEZ IT TYZ" and you actually do it and win then they are just going to repeat it.
Gambling is very very annoying. So far from what i've seen the gamblers are usually imature and childish and thats why i don't trust them.

well fyi. i watched it happen to another guy last night. and i warned him. oh well. he ended up calling a gm. gm told him its considered harrassment and his account will be suspended or terminated. idk if its true but its just the word i got. anyway have a good night all. see you again! and sorry for the /sh'ing!!!!!!!

Not EVERYONE knows Dodook is a scammer. I certainly didn't.

Tekeisha's post wasn't saying "why me??" nor "it's all his fault". He is giving a head's up to people who don't already know that Dodook is a scammer. I searched through the forums, and I didn't see anything on him.
Next time try reading the post.

I have no sympathy for those that lose money to gambling. I've said it before, and I'll say it again...you are just giving your money away to these pricks. Are you THAT hard up for Gil? There's a million other things you can be doing besides giving your Gil away. Like giving your Gil to me, for example. ^^

Wow. Why are we harassing this guy? I wouldn't gamble on this game either, but that was not the point of the thread at all. The point was someone stole his money. He was not complaining about the money he lost fair and square from gambling. He was complaining about the fact that someone broke the agreement and ran off with his money. He posted this thread so other people would not lost money to this scammer. I for one appreciate it, even though I don't use the "casinos". Its no different than someone saying they will teleport you and take your money without a teleport (except the stakes are a lot higher than 500 gil).
So, Tekisha, even though nobody else does I feel sorry for you, I do. Not for losing your money gambling, but for having it stolen. But I feel more sorry that you started a thread to warn others and were harassed instead.

Tekisha is not being harassed. No one is calling Tekisha names. No one is doing Tekisha any harm...well, no one but casino operators.
Don't forget that there's alot of people that come here and lurk, that read the boards and don't post. They are people that are looking to answers to questions like "Should I gamble?" Those are the people that need to know that gambling is risky, and if you are scammed by them, you're going to get alot of people saying "Too bad" and "Gambling is a waste of time" and so on.
So don't take it personally, Tekisha. I'm sure you're a good person, and I hope you've learned your lesson. You should know by now...in game or in real life...don't give things to people you don't trust if you expect to get something in return.
