Ok guys
I have helped alot of people out on this server.
I have taken twice as long to lvl myself because i've been taking care of other people.
I just made lvl 36, and am questing now for the teleport scrolls.
IT IS NOT COOL to cuss me out because I don't have the teleport you want yet.
it's not cool to do that to anyone!
it just gets you /blisted.
i am doing my best, just like everyone else.

I agree with u on the need to not harrass ppl when it comes to teleports, as well as the all powerful saying... NO MEANS NO!
But as far as new teleporters (such as yourself) advertising when all u have is one teleportation spell... well it hits a nerve....
At lvl 34 I made it my mission not to lvl until I had all my scrolls... that meant a week straight of building Sandy Bastok and Windy Fame. That meant another 5 days of camping out Eldieme Necropolis so I could find the ever elusive "???" (No I didn't go through the Glacier cuz I didn't have any help wat so ever and didn't know how to get there >.<).
So I (sadly) take it personally when a person only advertises one teleportation. It took a lot of hard work and time to get them and to have people just spam away with the 2 easiest to buy teleportations, just really irks me.
And now that it seems I've gotten off topic (although it is a little on it ^_^) I would like to offer u my help in gettin the others scrolls if u want... just send a /tell Caderly in game tonight around 10pm EST... we'll see wat we can do ^_^

Youre still offering to teleport which I find cool.
If you openly state Tele-Mea (example) and people ask Tele-Dem and you say you dont have it.... Then you dont.
I work in retail, it happens we dont have a product that people are just looking for, if they wanted to make sure we had it, and we dont theyre not mad, they ask if they can order it or not, IF they were told we had it and we dont and it was by our staff, THEN I believe they have to be pissed.

except, I didn't advertise anythihng. I was getting /tells left right and center.
Blame it on the telespammers... people are getting desperate, they don't want to find telespammers so they are hunting WHM's... crap I say... if they ain't advertising I'd say ask first, if they say they don't have them, then move on to the next one.
Like I wouldn't automatically go.. hey WHM36... DING! Telepoooooortz -- Hell I'm a BLM45 and I know how much of a mission rasing money and doing quests for scrolls is, and with our fragile little bodies it's kinda hard to do so sometimes. Like my next scroll is 30k damn it.. you think I have the money for that at the moment ?

NOTE: I hate being asked for Warp II's while in a full party fighting stuff. They just sit there and wait for you to give it to them.

Well, I have finished the quests, stayed alive and now have all the teleports. I'm going to ask the area i'm in only once every ten minutes if anyone needs a teleport, if at all. I've already /blisted all the teleport spammers because It's so ******* annoying.
Hopefully people will continue to send me tells. It'd be ironic if everyone stopped asking now that i've got the spells. HAHA.

You know what's even more annoying than getting asked for a teleport that you don't have?

I was getting asked for the three kingdoms teleports as early as 34, and for Vahzl at 37. --;

How about getting asked for teleports when you are a Paladin? I use to be in the "teleport business". It use to be a fairly decent way to make gil. But with the pleothra of WHMs offering the service, business slowed down. I tried schemes to get a rep as the "taxi service" to use (ie offering random free teleports, etc). I did start getting repeat customers because of things like this, however I finally decided the amount of gil per hour doing teleports these days is not worth it. So I gave up, but I still get /tells quite a bit (especially when I am in Jeuno) asking for teleports regardless of what job I am using.
well, if any of you ever need a teleport, just send me a /tell.

I've been busy farming to make up for the sheer gil loss of buying the teleport scrolls (Mea - 60k, Holla - 35k, Dem 7k, over 100,000 gil spent on scrolls).. so usually I'm REALLY busy... I farmed for the spells alone, couldn't find any help doing the quest... so I see them as "my" spells, to do with as I please.
so I simply tell people that I'm busy right now.....
typically the respons is, "ok".. a more *interesting* respons was "are you sure?" which I replied.. "Positive"
see, unless I'm offered a SEVERLY high amount of gil for the port.. there's no way it can out-do how much I can make farming.. and since I don't advertised teleport service, it means I have the right to refuse... Add to that there are MORE than enough people in each city offering a teleport service.

/sigh it is true, you can not support yourself on teles these days. i used to be able to pull in 150k in 3 days. but unfortunatly bokeli and hisisy put a stop to that. i used to shout once everytime i warped back, or if i constantly was warping once every 10 minutes or so. but when bokeli and hisisy came on the scene no one heard my shouts cuz they just filtered shouts. but in respone to the thread, i must say from someone who only had holla at one time i feel your pain.ppl used to call me a ****** whm, but now they plead with me to pt with them although i do remember names i do. dont burn any bridges man just hang in there. if you need help questing something <not coffers, coffer keys or genkai> send me a tell. and if they want a tele you dont have send them my way, lol d(^_^b)
