Hume RSE: A call for help!Follow

Yeah, I was under the mistaken impression I didn't have to buy this stuff, and that there was a pheasable quest involved in doing so. Wednesday was a wake-up call for me, and I ended up buying the tunic and the slacks...but luckily for me, as a lvl 37 RDM I did manage to solo one Stroper (left me with no mana and 9 life...eegh...), but I got a pendant and the key (amazingly, one and only stoper I fought, I don't think I would have lived again anyways). I was like, wow, now I just gotta get the chest in a few minutes. Then the high *** level campers showed up and I never ever saw a chest...

In short, can some people help me please please? I would be extremely happy if someone would /tell Memmo, Tsulhi, or Upyu if they could assist me the next time I try to go in there...

You went after a Stroper for your key? Wow, talk about ambitious!

In Ordelles, I'd suggest taking on Goliath Beetles. They top out in the low 30s. In Maze of Shakhrami, you want to take on Abyss Worms, which are also quite easy to take. One warning about Shakhrami: the chest spawn points are divided between two "floors" separated by a ledge. You can go over the ledge from the top "floor" (actually, it's more like the middle, since you have to drop off another ledge to get there) to get to the bottom "floor". But to get back to upper part, you have to go out into Buburimu and head back to the Tahrongi Canyon entrance.

Chest hunting is the worst part about RSE. Even without those gil merchants in Ordelles, there's still an occasional high lvl farmer who either isn't aware that RSE is going on in that dungeon or just doesn't care. Either way, they'll loot the chest for some lousy item or small amount of gil, and you'll have to wait anywhere up to 45 minutes for the chest to respawn >.<

I haven't tried chest hunting in Gusgen yet. The oak doors make it a problem going into the deeper parts unless you have a friend or 2 to stay back and open the door later on... or you have Warp, which could also work.
