LOL I made a mule to reserve my name today. I haven't decided yet if I will keep it but the thought of someone else having it just made me uncomfortable.
Sending my kraken club to my old name by accident and having someone else pick it up would just suck ><

I tried that mule thing to register an even remotely interesting name. But no dice. Even the random generator ingame only gave me RMT-like names because there were simply no more available.
So....anyone know what kind of Reputation Dave of Kujata has?

Are any of you bummed out that you have to change your names? Most likely, your name is already taken if it sounds common. Having had my name for more than 5 years, this is pretty screwed up...
We should all go to the POL website, click Services & Support on the left, click Contact, and submit Feedback.
Provide something, in non-aggressive language, to allow those with HIGHER EXPERIENCE keep their names.
Makes a lot of sense, doesn't it? I don't mind if I lose my name to someone else's main character whose been playing more than I have.
But it would suck to lose my name to someone's mule....
With enough feedback, they might feel inclined to adopt this method. Do it for yourself, do it for your friends, do it for everyone. Please.
