Regarless if you ACTUALLY do bot or not, you know people bot in your ls and don't condone/kick them out. Therefor you benefit from botting/cheating, which makes you just as bad as they are.

I didn't realize I had to camp a god just to be able to voice my opinion about cheaters.

According to who? You? Don't assume because your ls is full of people who can't play a damn game without cheating that every ls is like that. And how can you be "honorable" knowing people in your ls cheat? You can't, you find out they're cheating they should be kicked out.

You can sit on your high horse and say "Well I'm not the one botting." but you directly benifit from it wether it's a peice of god gear or just gil in your pockets. Now how is that "Honorable"?

Ah well this post has evolved into grade school games. In the end people using 3rd party apps have ABSOLUTELY no reason to stop, be them Demo, or any other endgame ls. They have been and continue to use these 3rd party apps and nothing ever happens to them. It's not even really limited to the endgame scene, it's probably more widespread that people even realize. The real people to blame here isn't DEMO, it's SE for not doing something to stop the proliferation of the use of the applications.

People assume since we have people on at all times during the day that we don't have lives. People really don't like to think, Demo is run like a business. If we need people on during a certain time, we hire for that certain time. Sure, we have some members who put in overtime, but thats not everyone.

The real problem here is that people refuse to think. Rational thinking would bring most linkshells to where we're at right now. Reputation doesn't matter when you can recruit from any server. How we get the claims doesn't matter since we're not banned. You come here with your TOS as a bible and preach to us, we don't need your sermons, we're fine on our own. We're not the criminals you make us out to be, we're just doing what we can to come out on top. We don't camp HNM to sell the gil, we haven't ruined your games economy. What we do is fight a few monsters, sure they may be highly contested, but theres other places to get the gear. Only three NM's are in question and if it wasn't for them we wouldn't be having this discussion. I'm sorry we don't like to spend 3 hours in Dragon's Aery only to lose claim.

I think the point everyone is missing is that no matter what you fools say or do we're not going to stop doing whats best for Demo.

Easy: You got a liberal arts degree. All you need for one of those is a face. Being able to write your own name helps too.

Oh I'm sorry you forgot to mention what you do. I don't use that degree, hence the fact that I'm working currently as an Engineer and a degree.
