so he comes up with these false prices that WERENT on AH like 8 gil for a 2000 gil worth item. he did take advantage of my n00bage. he tells me this 8000 gil item is worth only 2 gil? i was like o ok (nieve) and i bring the price down to meet their price, bc its a meet or beat sale. get it?
Yes, I understand now. You put low prices on your bazaar, someone saw those low prices and talked you down still lower, and you went for it because you were too ignorant to look up prices, too stupid to realize that someone who cuts your price down from 2000 gil to 8 gil probably doesn't have your profit uppermost in his mind, or too friendless to ask a friend's advice.
And somehow you see that as Dragontamer's fault and not your own. I see.
To set your wee little mind at rest, DT left the game about two years ago; he always wanted to be a SMN and became disillusioned with the job once he actually played it a bit. I have a really tough time believing that he did this to you, as I knew him to be a sensitive, thoughtful person who even created a linkshell expressly for new players--a place for them to learn things like how to equip their gear, how to earn a little gil, and how to use the AH
(note that last one).
In fact, upon further reflection, I don't
believe he did such a thing to take advantage of you; I think it's far likelier that he saw you with your bazaar full of 2000-gil fire crystals and told you that you need to price them per crystal, not per stack, and you're still bitter about it now because you still
don't understand how bazaars work. That, or you got the name mixed up. Because, you see, you really are quite stupid.
Feielle is right; the "it" I was referring to was your stupidity. I know that sentences which refer to an object not contained within that sentence but implicit from the context of the pronoun are probably beyond your fourth-grade reading level, but trust me on this--you'll find such sentences everywhere in books without pictures in them (assuming you're ever ready to read and enjoy such books).
