A 50THF also came in with 4 65+s and they were stealing all the liches as they could run through the KAs without getting aggro and didn't need to rest.
I had a nice little conversation with one of them too, and if I could remember his name (he's currently on my blist) I'd post his name here too... His LS was DarkSith or something similar and his name started with K. At the end of our convo right before I blisted him his last words were "(DarkSith) will take ALL your liches... hahaha" or something to that effect.
Considering the drop rate, papy whores are just as bad as gilfarmers IMO.

Speaking of yesterday's papy run, I have someone else to add to this blist.
There was a 50thf there, blazzed, who was paying a RDM to get him his papy. Blazzed was ok, he got a bit pissed at me but I called it on myself. The RDM he was paying, however, I've encountered before, and everytime I see him he's an @#%^.
His name.. Ketsuke. I really hate that kid. He uses the same tactics as the chinese gilfarmers; /tells of "go away" "if you value your XP you will leave" etc...

I only have 3 blacklisted people and hope it stays that way, I hate to hate others. I wont give names since my belief is that its rude to tell others to Blist so and so since I think you shouldn't persuade other to black list someone whom you haven't even met or discovered their personality. I know I've been blacklisted by a lot of people. Well atleast I think I've been.

OH WAIT THERE IS ONE PERSON I HAVE TO MENTION. His name is Badbeaney. I will even make a whole new thread due to him.

I still don't have any one on my blist. but i have one nomination. This one guy I think he was a PLD his name was Floyd. I was partying in Garlaige and this guy wasn't even in my party and he was pissing me off. He got into an argument with a mage (can't really remember the name) and he starts shouting curses and racial slurs. Just spamming the hell out of all of us. And when he was about to leave Garlaige he called everyone a bunch of fags, cursed some more then left. What a jerk. I never thought people were racist in a VIDEO GAME but I guess ffxi imitates real life huh.

smh just sad....

I had a wierd encounter last Saturday.

Thos who know me (/wave) know that I go way out of my way to help others. So I am in the dunes (enough said, LOL), and levelin my new main- DRG.

So I am in a party with a 14MNK/WAR and we are all doing OK. So he sends me a few tell's askin questions, and I tell him my wifes first character is a MNK, so I am tellin hin some stuff, (I had mentor on) between pulls. To be nice, and encourage food use amongst people whoo are kind of new, I passes him some metay'kabobs(LOL), and he said what they do? I said use em, and youll see a difference... so all is well...

2 hours later, (around midnite) I am exhausted from playing for like 6 hours staright. I get invite to a make shift party thats forming... (a non-tank make shift party)

...1) BLM/WHM, a 2)RDM, a 3)DRK/RNG (ot something), and me 4) DRG/SAM... 5) our new friend the MNK/WAR again....weird but no taknks looking.

So anyhow, after looking for a tank for sometime (they made me leader at some point),I say guys, lets disband.... (note: we still have not fought anything as a group for like 45 minutes).

So they all say let do lizzies- slow xp better than none.... so I remind thenm of no whm, and mainly NO TANK.

They say, lets rock anyhow. So I say- OK, RDM, please drop a few enfeebles, then concetrate on cures... (RDM "Hey- sounds great!" (I know how flexible they are- I was RDM for many months). I ask the BLM to drop a nuke-then a cure, so no one dies, and he is cool with that.

Si suggest we share hate around, and that the MNK can voke if they go to the mages... and he says back "NOOB!"

I am like "????? we were togather ealier- I gave you food?" (in private tell)

He the advise I should NOT be a mentor, cause I am the suXXor LdR or some 1337 crap...

I ask the MNK/WAR "can you act as a tank or not?" (good hp/def-and only 1 w/ voke"

Well, he starts sayin how I am a noob. I get a little frustrated, and reply that if the group wants to proceed as a skeleton crew, we all must do what we can to survive. So then the guy starts cussing at me in open party chat- that I am queer, a noob, and a bunch other stuff like "MNK never Tank!"

So, before I can even respond, ( or kick him from the party ), he drops himself. Right after that the DRK says "WTF? Me and you dont have voke, we are DD's.... we cannot hold hate from mages, but he could have...."

The BLM (also taru like me) says in p/tell "thats why need PVP- cause I would have PWND him just then!"

LOL, I dont know bout that...but anyways.

LOL, the group thought he was an idiot, and all said they appreciated me for trying to lead us towards ANY xp....but they all agreed this kid has a slight attitude problem--and know idea that roles can be moved around somewhat...

He is Hume or Elvann... Robbo, or Robo.

I did not B-list you bud...but you will never make it later on by acting like that...

in response to whoever said B-list blink, do you have a good reason? i was partying with him in the dunes when he was lvling whm (for monk sub on god runs and such, he is lvl 75 monk) and we just chatted away and had a great time. that was about 2 months ago and since then i have gotten monk to 40, and talked with him of many things. monk related, end game stuff, but everything we discussed he was very nice and has been on my friends list ever since that day. we had some PRETTY bad pt members in the dunes, even one who was incredibly rude and not once did i hear or see a negative comment or action from him.

maybe he did something wrong to you, but without knowing and just putting his name up it seems kind of unfair :p

It is very intrestng how different people have differents opinoins. Our comunity overall is pretty good.

I'm sorry but Valine is in my LS. She is always willing to help people out.

I don't know about her other actions but from what I know she is really nice. Yesterday, she spent two hours helping me and another LS mate find the Palsborough chest key. (She always drops what she is doing to help people out).

I will always consider her a game-friend.

I'm sorry to hear that people had bad experience with her. Give her a chance. She is really cool.

I'm surprised nobody knew this, but Genjo is Dokaka. I hope none of you have pted with him. He's claiming that he's gone "anew" but I spoke with him once about it: it's total bs. Don't ask how I found out, you don't want to know. Also:

Alsax is the most horrible player of this game ever. He constatnly harasses, defames and slurrs other players of the game. One time in Yhoator, I was pting and he was shouting obnoxious racial slurs and using all sorts of "colorful" sex talk. Then, when my ENTIRE PARTY asked him to stop, he started harassing us. We all then proceeded to /blist him and then we called a GM on him. The GM obviously did nothing, since the next day he was PTing in Yhoator again. It really pisses me off that people like him are still at large, especially since he's probably offended enough people to get several GM calls. I don't know why, but the GM's never seem to do anything about anything, especially when it matters: such as in Alsax's case. It's unfortunate that all of us have to /blist these people, since most of them should have been banned from FFXI online a loonnnnnnnng time ago by the GM's. Oh well, just my 10 cents.

Genjo scammed one of my LSmates for all their gear -.-, offered to raise NIN or something. Gave pass etc (bad move). Supposedly knows Genjo (apparently aka Dokaka) personally.

Hmmm, very intresting post, at first. Now it just seems like a flame war. I think you guys need to grow up, one thing, no one really cares if you hate someone or not, thats why i dont get the whole "My whole ls just blisted you" bit. I dont know your linkshell, why the hell should i care? Blisting someone for more then an hour or two is retarted, seeing as there not going to talk to you after that, belive it or not, people do give up =P. Now as for blisting someone for the name they've chosen, thats really really mean, this person is real, not some random generated person created by score. These people have traights and to totally segregate them because the name they have chosen doesnt suit your tastes isnt right at all. Blisting is great for ignorent people that randomly insault you because you have a double set of Astral Rings >.> <.< heh, the only person on my blist... is me. Look if ya dont like shouts, ignore them, if you dont like someones name, try /telling them, and asking what its about. But jees people ITS A GAME!! theres no reason to bash one another because of a bad experience, be friendly, be nice to each other. Have fun, thats what a game is for. I'd like to send a message to those who blist because someone wont raise you... dont. I had this happen to me over the weekend. I sat dead in Yhout without a raise, and when i finally did get raised the time on the countdown was 5:47 or somthing. Anyway i had shouted "I'm not going to raise for the rest of the day, sat down and rested. This small Taru (i wont give a name) was sitting next to me dead, and i was like "Where was he when i was sat dead?" So i desided not to Raise... bad idea i guess... all of a sudden i get shouts how i'm a bad whm, and how this cats whoooole ls was ganna blist me, and i'm ganna have a bad post about me on Allk. I was like "wha??" I thought about it for a few seconds and i just desided to raise him, i was doing what everyone was doing to me. Sorry for the long lecture, but come on, Blisting someone isnt something to be proud of, infact i just thik it shows how big your head is. If it was up to me, this thread should be taken out, after all, you're al just slamming each other. Said it once, i'll say it again... GROW UP!

I haven't Blisted anybody, and hope to keep it that way. If I'm offended by someone, I'll usually just ignore it, and them.

I agree with Robertbc. There are good people and bad people in this game just like in RL. On most accounts the people that have been posted here have been for the most part "bad Kujatans" all too often I've run into ppl that I've read about here. I won't name who specifically but it was an indicator of what I would be dealing with in my party. For instance one guy liked to secretly pull a nearby mob and pass it off as aggro. I saw him do it. Now why he would do this I don't know, but things like this get people KILLED. And if you spend your time playing you should have an enjoyable experience because we all are PAYING to play this game. Alerting the public to "bad players" and scammers saves alot of time and energy.

However at the same time I understand what Fat is trying to say as well. Its not really fair to judge someone on one occasion BUT if their actions warranted a blist for something like MPK'ing, training or scamming then by all means WHY THE HELL NOT. But if someone is wearing a pair of stumbling sandals should you blist them? I wouldn't, I would try to help them out by advising to take those awful things off though. Yeah true, its only a game. I haven't blisted ANYONE yet. But the game imitates life. There are cool ppl and there are "not so cool" ppl. I remember I was in a party where a guy kept spamming us with Racial slurs. He thought it would be cool to /em "tosses bluesteele a beer and say <insert racial slur here>". He had a macro for this. We advised him to stop but he did not so everyone within the area blisted him. It was disgusting and it was ruining the gaming experience for everyone.

I mean this is getting long and it can be debated to death. but i mean there are BAD KUJATANS on the server. and they make playing less enjoyable for all of us. what justifies this can be debated I guess but I listed what I think and thats my two cents. but again. Its just a game like you said. I just wanna get my MONEYS WORTH since SE wants me to pony up some cash at the start of each month lol XD

Now let's see, blisted people...Jrok, for ditching me in Teriggan when I d/c for 2 minutes and Beave for being a complete idiot.

I blisted my first person last night. A person by the name of tinh, for being a rude player and for attempting to train in GC. I say attempting cause he shouted how he was going to train us all and kill us but he only brought bats that didnt aggro to the zone. Im certain his intentions were to kill us and even though he was too stupid to do so, his actions did cause a delay in my pts leveling as we had to wait for the bats to go back from where they came.

"Well, lets see here... I've been called the Eff word by about three people because i wouldn't raise them. I've been told off plenty of times by people that. You obviously dont know me, and Pedrozagrabiel is right about one thing.... it's just a game. Don't talk to me about "Haveing to much time" When your the one that complains about exp you could of lost. I have no problem dieing, i have no problem with the way people get upset. I only care about the people i comunnicate with everyday, people on my linkshell, and maybe a few good guys (and girls) around my level.. Turning the other cheek is a good thing to do sure, but why blist when you can simply ignore what there telling you? Conntact a GM? Point is, if people dont like you, then whats there point in talking to you.

I'm sorry you've had bad times with people, and i'm sorry people get on your nerves, but to take it out on me, because i've posted how i feel about blisting people, isn't very good of you. YOu obviously have no idea who i am, what i am, or even how i play this game. My last post wasn't even an attack on you, so i hope your proud of yourself to find an argument in somthing, but until you take the time to know me, in game and out... perhaps you should do everyone a favour and... shut up
