My opinions on this are varied; seeing as how I don't know all the details of the situation, I don't really think its my place to speak up.
This, however, warranted attention:

I've had a whole pile of girlfriends during my time on Kujata.
But why do people assume having a girlfriend or any of that junk makes you a better person? Does this put you at a level above those who are single? I think not. It really doesn't make a difference. Why do people try to play this "real life" card?
Having a girlfriend is a choice you make, another timesink (and moneysink at times! o_O) just like an MMO. You have a job too? That's great... so do the rest of us. It's just being an adult. Working is mostly not fun anyway, if you have a job you enjoy, I mildly envy you.

Im sorry if that really happened to you I know it sucks trying to juggle more then one thing.
It made me think of my sister and her BF, they both play WoW. I ask them if they want to go grab something to eat since we forgot to go shopping Sunday morning (no one work up early, then all jumped into a game when we did. And all I hear them doing is arguing on who is going on what raid and who needs to help who get what equip.
Needless to say I went and got food alone. I wish I had an endgame shell T.T

I have known Ketrel for a long time. I believe his side of the story. Of course a LS is going to be mad when they lose an almost finished relic.

Player Eulore just made my blist today when he offered 4k for a teleport-yhoat (too good to be true these days ;X) and then on purpose didnt complete the trade. Thinking he was just slow (alot of people are) I went ahead and finished the port like I always do, and he promptly disbanded went /anon and rode off on a chocobo asap. Of course afterwards he ignored a few /tells so I just blisted him.
So yea make sure you teletaxi WHMs out there get payment up front from this guy at the very least.

I notice this lots when I'm doing tele's, person will come up and wait up to a min b4 the trade. I won't start casting till the payment is made.
I've notice too, when I shout for a tele, the teleporter is already casting the tele while waiting/doing the trade. As this is a fast way to get the teleport finished, some ppl just wreck it for others.

Hotarutaru&Dwight of AkoRoshi Linkshell(may even dare of saying the whole LS itself but lol i'm sure there are good people in there).
Here's the story. I was camping Shikigami weapon on my friends account after dynamis and noticed Hotarutaru was there. She said it died about 15mins ago, and I stayed aroudn for about 10 more minutes then finally OP warped out. The next day, I offered to team up with her and cast lots on the robe if it dropped, since having a rough ToD is good but not enough to get my friends to come. She said OK& gave me a ToD which didnt even resemble lastnights. So, I went to Ro'meave again and camped for ~1hr and nothing. Hotarutaru then explained the time difference well rather Dwight did cuz hotarutaru speaks terrible english and its impossible to understand her sometimes. I went back at 2AM in the morning and after 30mins of camping I left and knew they gave me the wrong ToD. I didn't even find it fishy that she wouldn't camp it and I have no idea why(guess I was a bit happy I might get it to myself). Then the nextday after a xp pt I logged on my froiends account(logged him off in Ro'meave to camp it) and noticed they were all there. I asked Anjol if it was Shikigami and she responded"yes." I /telled hotarutaru and asked if she needed help and she said it was a sky raid. I soon found out this was a lie, and started to get angry. She played me- and her so called "husband" played me too(we talked a bit). She tend admitting to doing it so I woudl work for the ToD and camp it. This was a @#%^ed up thing to do because she could have just said she wouldnt team up with me and wouldnt give me ToD...I would have been ok. Then anjol started giving me a fake ToD(was a rough ToD again). Seeing as hotarutaru admitting to giving m,e a fake ToD so I would camp it and saying if i came it was hers because it was her ToD therefore her NM-_-. She thought she owned it. They killed it and got her robe.

hotarutaru was mentioned a page earlier and one time dwight offered me 50k to pl 5-10 him on blu(10k a lvl). i did this for a few lvls then he "dcd." i waited around for a bit, then he came back on a few hours later. never gave me the gil.

Very true ariall :3 only I never gave people false ToDs just to @#%^ with them and make them camp NM for no reason. Whenever someone offered to team up and I didn't want to I just said no. >_> I also never pretended like a NM was mine just cuz I had ToD and accused anyone else who wanted it to be a thief because they also wanted to NM :3.

You counting on strangers to give you a correct ToD to a mob that they also need. Sounds like you are not so bright to actually listen to them.
Rule of thumb if you dont know the person dont count on NM info being right.
Note: think the LS is old shogun iirc, I have never had a problem with the main members. But one of the LS rules is do not discuss ToD with people outside LS. It is a smart rule why waste your LS time finding something tell someone else then have them get the reward for your effort.
Edit: Thinking about it they are smart, you dont put in the effort to camp the NM for ToD, you give up fairly short after getting a ToD and leave. You are a campers perfect dream, I would give you bad ToD and have you leave after you get feed up too. Less competition for me, greater chance I will get what i want and am actually working for.

Lets use a better example Argus. Ok you are there camping him for a few days, (lets say you cant just sit afk and get tod uz or argo), trying to narrow down ToD.
Then some random person runs up to you and goes hey do you know ToD??? Please tell me I dont want to wait to find it I just want to come kill it so I can get drop, not in so many words.
Are you going to A) Freely tell him ToD or how long you been there with out seeing him pop so he can narrow his window down. B) Tell him you killed it or saw it die at xxxx time, hoping he goes away and doesnt get real ToD upping your chance at claim. C) Tell him nothing run the risk he stays and out claims you while you have been there for 10+ hours?

i would never camp any thing for that ungodly amount of time to beguine w/ so ida never gotten that competitive. SE is doing a good job of making it so theres always an alternative to camping 20 thousand billion hours

I would honestly opt to not tell them anything at all. Or a simple, "I'm sorry, my LS and I are still actively camping this NM and I can't give out the ToD." Chances are, if they are just walking up, have no idea when the window's open, and don't have anyone with them, they're not gonna stick around long enough or be paying enough attention to outclaim you. And if they do, it sucks because you waited there longer than them, but that's how the game works. You were at an advantage, it didn't work out, and you didn't deliberately put them at a disadvantage.
I tend to be a relatively nice camper though. I mean, I'm competitive and I'll try to outclaim anyone else that's there, but if I don't get it, I'm not sore about it and I'll /cheer the person on if they get drop. I had an experience a month or so ago where I had to camp Charybdis for a week in order to get my joytoy. One spawn particular there were two different parties who wiped and I was the only one alive in the area. I raised up the first party who claimed and helped them kill it without lotting (it wasn't entirely altruistic, I was also tired and wanted to get ToD before going to bed, so I was willing to do what was in my power to speed up the process XD).
But I digress. The point is, if you lie to someone about when it was, then you're going out of your way to put the other person at a disadvantage. If you say nothing at all or simply say no if they ask, then you're leaving the playing field clear and you still have the upperhand because you know more than they do.

Here's the story. I was camping Shikigami weapon on my friends account after dynamis and noticed Hotarutaru was there. She said it died about 15mins ago, and I stayed aroudn for about 10 more minutes then finally OP warped out. The next day, I offered to team up with her and cast lots on the robe if it dropped, since having a rough ToD is good but not enough to get my friends to come. She said OK& gave me a ToD which didnt even resemble lastnights. So, I went to Ro'meave again and camped for ~1hr and nothing. Hotarutaru then explained the time difference well rather Dwight did cuz hotarutaru speaks terrible english and its impossible to understand her sometimes. I went back at 2AM in the morning and after 30mins of camping I left and knew they gave me the wrong ToD. I didn't even find it fishy that she wouldn't camp it and I have no idea why(guess I was a bit happy I might get it to myself). Then the nextday after a xp pt I logged on my froiends account(logged him off in Ro'meave to camp it) and noticed they were all there. I asked Anjol if it was Shikigami and she responded"yes." I /telled hotarutaru and asked if she needed help and she said it was a sky raid. I soon found out this was a lie, and started to get angry. She played me- and her so called "husband" played me too(we talked a bit). She tend admitting to doing it so I woudl work for the ToD and camp it. This was a @#%^ed up thing to do because she could have just said she wouldnt team up with me and wouldnt give me ToD...I would have been ok. Then anjol started giving me a fake ToD(was a rough ToD again). Seeing as hotarutaru admitting to giving m,e a fake ToD so I would camp it and saying if i came it was hers because it was her ToD therefore her NM-_-. She thought she owned it. They killed it and got her robe.

This post is beatiful. You got whinning, crying because didn't get it her way, crying over on the alla post(obviously as you can see) and telling mommy I got a boo boo from those 2 meanies tarus.
It doesnt seem kayori knows how to camp NMs and poorly will post crap about them. You really need to go play WoW. Its common sense that the compatition isnt going to tell you the TOD if they are camping it -.-

I'll probably get karamabombed ^^ but since I really don't care celelove just made my blist. For blacklisting a ton of people that were probably just desperate for help or trying to make some gil. Sounds really shady to me, so I think if they /shout for help in whitegate ^^ I won't be able to hear you cause guess what? Your on my blist ty celelove for instead of helping them you just turn to apathy and say enjoy the blist all in the time you sit in whitegate and listen to the shouts you probably could have helped a few of them.

Totally agreed. SE has created a game that it's impossible to progress far in WITHOUT help. There are very few instances of quests or missions that can be accomplished alone.
Some people are just not blessed with friends who are always online when they need help or linkshells who will drop everything to come help. So they resort to shouting. Shouting serves a great function in this regard. Brings people together who need each other for whatever. And the only annoyance to others is the scroll.
Well, there's a simple solution that does not require blisting half the population of Whitegate. Use your filters to turn off shouts entirely. Problem solved. And easily reversed if you later need to do some shouting yourself...

I wait for my shout to disappear off my chat box before shouting again.
People are always constantly zoning in and out of whitegate. I'd like as many people possible to see my shout so I dont loose a potential target :P I dont like standing there shouting as much as people like reading the same shouts.
5mins is a bit too long. Sometimes when Im thinking of joining a potential group I wait for another shout to make sure they didnt fill a spot..if you wait that long between shouts people will probably think you've already left.

I personally dislike shouts in besieged (we're all in besieged to do one thing..wait til its over) and tele-service shouts.
People who need teles will shout if they want a tele. Id shout if I want a tele because I can set my own prices :P

Even one minute is long enough considering some of these people who shout every 5-20 seconds over and over and over.
I never get mad at help shouts either, its usually either the tele service shouts or the Teleport-Free Can I have it? Please? No Money! shouts that seem to pile up on my screen.

yes, i did blisted a lot of ppl, alot of them r not blisted just because they were shouting for help.. but because they were having a conversation with many other ppl bytching each other and i didnt wanted to hear any of it... well.. maybe i should start to use that chat filter.. i kinda admit that i blisted too many ppl for nothing.. the only ppl that will remain will be the ones that really acted bad at me... also.. 1/3 of that list are japaneses people who were spamming like 6 lines of text each 5 sec..
well, if i offended anyone with my post, im sorry and i admit my mistake of being too rude.. when i made that list, i really had a bad day and stuff.. plz forgive me guys and if you need any help, contact me in-game

we didnt make her do any thing... some of us simply didnt agree w/ her loose use of the blist feature.
for instance you blist my friend ervine you lose one of the best pld and mnks on the server simply because he may have /sh to much...
it was also prudent to mention the fact that the /sh filter existed. In this case celelove didn't know about it and can now simply turn on her filter if she doesn't want to see /sh

I /blist spammers all the time. Especially when I have to hang around Whitegate for an extended period of time, the same shouts over and over start to get a little irritating. Usually, I just clean my /blist every couple of weeks or so--I remember the people who I genuinely don't want to interact with, and everyone else I clear out. If I'm feeling really antisocial, I'll just filter shouts entirely, but sometimes I still wanna see if someone shouts something pertinent to me, but not the same CoP-fight-shout-for-a-mission-far-past-mine-@-5/6-will-be-shouting-for-3-more-hours-every-20-seconds.
And I lol'd@Celelove's blist because a handful of names on there are some of the most notoriously rude and ignorant people I've come across on this server, and it's oddly satisfying to see someone else recognizes them as such. But I tend to keep my personal opinions and interactions to myself, I only speak up whenever someone goes out of their way to be disrespectful or dishonest for no reason.

well, since im back, i just decided to make good of what i said and decided to do a very big clean-up of the blist. Only those names remained here because they really reserve it.. as for the spammers, ill simply turn the filter on and if they're too much text, ill simply zone out, end of story.
Here is the names that will remain permanently on my blist:
Lunastar--> because he thinks every1 suck except him
Pyros---> because he called me a b-y-t-c-h when i had a skillup pt with my firend s near his xp pt and despite the fact that i never fought his mobs, he kinda ''ordered'' me to leave and i refused and told him ill fight my mobs and ill let him have his xp mobs but he didn't wanted to hear anything so it was simpler to call me a b-y-t-c-h
Vereis--> maybe im wrong, but i blisted him because i saw him selling god gears for the RMT in Whitegate
Teleporter--> because he screwed me twice on a tele.. like sending me to vhazl instead of holla and since he didnt had the gate crystal, he never teleported when i got teleported and despite my best efforts to contact him to get back my money, he simply ignored my tells
Calecolindo--> at first, he had all my respect, but after he bytched at me cause Gorm asked me to help him for a little limbus farm raid, he started to treat me like sh*t and i decided that he won a spot in my blist
Tadeus-Demonito--> the biggest immature idiot ever.. thanks to god..he is now on Seraph server
Shunsuke--> because after we won COP 2-5, he argued with me about what NPC we were supposed to talk after, he called me a bytch just to realize 5 min later that i was right for this point, so because of this rudeness.. im not rdy to forgive him yet
agmar and orihimme--> for always making fun of me because they were jealous that i was a good ldr always rdy to help the others before myself
Now, i hope that i will never ever be forced to add someone else in my blacklist because this isn't always the right thing to do to blist everyone.
