Returning PlayerFollow

well after a 3 year hiatus from FFXI, I have decided to come back, Im running the trial version right now, however I plan on getting the vanadiel 2008 collection here in the next couple days.

it is however a pain in the ass to start fresh on a new server, I am originally from Bahamut, but that realm is now locked, and Im gonna find a new homeon Ifrit, any LS's out there that can lend me a hand on starting fresh?

my ultimate goal is going for Blue mage, maybe DRG further down the raod for soloing possibilities, I was quite the PLD back in my day, but after tanking in WoW, I never want to tank again lol, with the exception of getting NIN to 37, but Im getting ahead of myself.

please if theres anyone out there, give Xerino a holler, Im the little taru that doesnt have a sub yet :)

also, I can go from trial to vanadiel collection right? Id hate to have to start over twice.

i also am planning to return to the game.
its been about a year or so.
was on Odin BLU63 and WHM61.
but had problems and blah blah.
planning to start new.
i can tell you i completely forgot alot about the game.
so is this a good server to join as being basically a new player?
