Hey guys,

So I got back from a long break from Final Fantasy XI to find my LinkShell has since disbanded and im out in the cold, feeling lost and alone. I tried to get back into the flow and pick up another LS at some point but I just got demotivated and stopped playing again, as I really miss the banter LinkShells provide.

So here I am writing this post to seek an appropriate LinkShell for me to join! Im from the UK so majority GMT players would be a boon, but not totally necessary as I work shifts. My main job is Dragoon, which is currently 67 if I remember rightly? (I seem to remember not XPing much until I got an AJ- 0/11 thus far!) I consider myself a fairly good player and have a number of subjobs at 37 ready to exploit the versatility of Dragoons including WAR,THF,SAM,WHM,BLU - NIN is on the way but is less important I feel.

What I am looking for in an LS is first and foremost social activity. Id love to be able to log onto FFXI and find 4-5 LS people in the middle of discussing anything from pDIF and its effects on stat choices for DD to why bacon sarnies should have brown sauce on and not red sauce! In terms of in-game activities Ive no sights on any top level end-game as I dont think I could commit, but Id love somewhere that looks at doing Assaults, BCNM runs, Missions etc etc. Id also love a guild of a wide "experience" range so that I in turn can also do my bit to help people out!

Listing the times I am active is impossible, as I stated above I work shifts so one week I can be working 7am to 7pm GMT and the next week vice versa. Couple that with a 5 on 5 off 4 on 4 off day rotation and you can see how confusing it gets!

I may be leveling up other jobs in the future but Id just like to state that Ive been playing "on and off" since Sept 2004 and this is as far as I have gotten thus far! (Given, I was preoccupied with University shinanigans most of 04 to 07 ;) ). Its nothing Ive given real consideration to yet as so far Ive managed with my high-ish Dragoon and selection of jobs at 37. Off the top of my head, Ive always wanted to dabble in Summoner but would like to do that when I have more than just Carbuncle at my disposal.

Perhaps I didnt stress enough in my opening post. I am not seeking a place that will be looking for a regimental player online at specific times on set days. I work very long/strange hours so when I am at work I generally do not play games afterwards as all I have energy for is a few pints down the local and a good sleep! I really would love a nice social LS thats all about the banter but still asks players to perform at the best of their ability when doing things.
