Cynic Returning to iFritFollow

Hey guys,
Just curious - Anyone play on IFrit server that remembers Cynic the Tarutaru Monk
I played for 3 years, was pretty decked out.. 75 BLM 75 BRD 75 MNK..
Well it has been over 2 years since I've last played the game and I am thinking about purchasing the game tomorrow and starting from scratch.
I'm nervous about the new expansions and job classes though - I have a funny feeling everything is going to be completely different, and nothing will make sense anymore, any comments?
Just wanted to give a shout out to all that have known me, and I hope the people that I used to play with still are playing to this day, can't wait to see you guys soon.

PS. I was thinking about coming back Monk/Warrior - I heard that isn't even a popular choice anymore, and comments on that?

Also yeah Mnk/nin alot of the time in merits from what I see for damage migitation <sp>

Still like the old /war though.

Hey Cynic, glad to see you around. If you're considering coming back and trying for Monk as main, you'll probably want to level Ninja up to 37 eventually. End-game trend nowadays for merits anyways is usually MNK/NIN, but MNK/WAR should be fine until around 70. Dunno if that's entirely true though, because I keep seeing an increasing ammount of people using /nin at lower levels.
