Just an addendum to what I've posted:

PD got claim on lolBehemoth yesterday. I'd be happy about this if I wasn't so distracted by my lottery winnings that I can't enjoy, thanks to the lightning strikes and shark bites. ; ;

I suppose I shouldn't be so pessimistic, because claim can be had, and maybe not so rare as I've led myself to believe.

QFT. It's no secret that an alliance without bots who actually focus on claim will beat programs which basically just let you claim without trying. It's harder, you will claim less, but nonetheless claims can be made.

Kings are easy. If a proper TOD is taken you only have to focus for that 30 second window. SPQR managed to obtain several landking abjurations, complete blackbelts, even obtain one ridill, all without having to rely on third party claim tools.

It's not impossible to outclaim bots. Takes a little more determination and a group of people all focused on claiming.

Just my quick 2 cents. As far as LM17 dominating all king pops they camp it's not true. Most maybe but not all. I got invited by a friend to come out to behemoth today (1/31) to see him and if we got the claim to fight. At Behemoth LM17 and a few other shells were present. About 10 seconds before the spawn I see a chainspell go off and roll my eyes, as this is what happened the day i went to see Fafnir. And behemoth then spawns purple on my screen and guess who has it. No not LM17, LoA had the claim. I don't know if LM17 wasn't trying or if they didn't care but they aren't the dominators that everyone makes them out to be. They can be beat you just have to try hard, get really lucky, or bot just like them.

Have Fun, been 75 for many moons now i might join y'all in endgame someday. For now i'm happy with my menial grind and helping my friends.

I had a really long argument developed to defend LM members (being one of them myself) but after going back and reading a few of the posts, I've decided that most of the people arguing against us (save a few of the people) probably wouldn't even understand it because they enjoy the typical "WELL YOU'RE STUPID BECAUSE YOU IS A BAD PERSON AND I DON'T LIKE YOU" approach. Then they simply wait for a response and just use their same argument over and over until it's beat to death. Obviously this is pretty stupid, and why I normally don't even bother to read these threads.

Anyways in conclusion, I've decided simply to state that the people in LMXVII are probably some of the nicest people I've known in the game. So if I have to "have no morals" to play a game with other fun/nice people who "have no morals" etc etc then by all means sign me right on up.

I've never really cared about this crap. I've seen what LM17 does. Most of the people in the shell are the nicest on this server. I still call a few friends. I talk to one of them every now and then about small things. I know they aren't claiming everything either. I've seen them make careless mistakes on certain gods as well. Some of them I was in a shell with before and they have not changed much. There is a lot more available to do now than there was when the majority of us first hit 75 and saw the gear that was available to us at the time. The only things really worthwhile are indeed a Ridill almost everything else drops in the new stuff SE has given to us... granted Odin is indeed harder than hell. I think this is one of the few servers who still cry "Bot bot". Most of the other servers.. all of their bots are open and everyone knows about them.. We have people coming back to our server after leaving and trying another one.. what does that really say for the server in general? I know a person who wasn't as big on botting who came back and has a few of them now. Do I condone bots.. f*** no, I do like the chance to try to outclaim them though. As far as lm17 selling gear.. who f'ing cares? It is nice seeing NA's beat out JP's now on some things. I think this thread was a waste of time to try anything on LM17. Just let them be and find other ways to amuse yourselves.

That's the dumbest thing I ever heard. If any american still holds a grudge against completely unrelated parties for something that happened a generation ago, then you need to get your pride in check.

This sh*t right here needs to be bumped due to i saw several LM-17 members on the street corner giving handjobs the other night...
