I am suprised no one said I am a bad player. I mean come on....I am not the best nuker, nor a good melee player. I never have high enough equipment. My rings are old. Im the worst Summoner around. My attacks are low. My mp is so-so. If you ever been in a party with me, or seen me give me your reflection on my preformance.

LOL easy on the cynism dood, save some for the former POWs in Vietnam.

Honestly, if you can see your own flaws then you aren't that bad. You just need to take the next step and fix them. ;-)

Best Players

CrimsonBlades - Best damn LS there ever was or your money back! We're all very close friends and there are even a few couples, too. We're led to victory in our many endeavors by none other than Morbius, Scarlett, Scelesta, and Halostar.

Obelisk- One of the leaders of TheMonarchy, and a sex maniac. Almost as much of one as me. He helped me get my Fransisca, and I can't thank him enough for that~.

MorbIus- Not to be confused with MorbUS, the mithra DRK, although Morbus is a good friend of mine too. Morbius is a very noble, selfless, honorable person. I've never seen or heard of one bad thing about him.

I quote him when I kneeled before him for giving me a pearl to his LS: "Kneel before no one, for we are all equal. Welcome to my family."

Scarlett- He's an awesome leader and my biggest rival among Warriors. Although he levels much faster and has a lot more money to throw around, I think one of these days I could outdo him. Someday. Maybe not this year though x.x

Morbus- After I taught him the disengage haste trick, he's taken a liking to DRK once more. >.> He's probably one of the most talented DRKs I've met. Starscreem still wins in that department though.

Keelie- zOMGhihi2h3r! She's one crazy mithra, and she's an awesome friend. /cheer Keelie.

Halostar- He may be a manthra but it's still fun to stare at that mithra butt of his >.>

Hey, if all I can see is the mithra part, why bother looking past that if he doesn't mind?

Irisaya- She's a wonderful friend of mine, and her unmistakable speech pattern is just one thing that keeps her in that 'never forget' list of mine. Anyone who knows me well enough knows I have a bad habit of staring at mithra backsides a bit too much >.>;; I try not to stare at Iris because she has a BF, but I have loads of fun staring at her mithra booty and she has loads of fun slapping me when I do. It's a win-win situation. XD

Her old BF was a jerk, so hopefully her new one won't suck so bad. Kuwabara doesn't know about the time we died in promy-holla and I used her butt as a pillow so that's good news. >.>

Seeye- Great THF and good puller. Has her sh*t together. She and I met in a party with Kristianna in the dunes. Gone but not forgotten.

Schu- She's so sweet; always encouraging everyone no matter what, never saying anything mean about anyone (she did once but she practically cried with regret afterwards).

She's lots of fun to tease since she's blond, but this irritates her to no end so I've decided to stop :/

She's head over heels for Ronnold, who returns that love, but they try very hard not to show it. They hate PDA. Orz, you should see them around me though. Gawd.

Sakkara- She hates people (don't we all?) so therefore she does not party. However, she's such an awesome gal and we of TheCrimsonGuardians all love her. ^^

Okay, maybe she IS highly aggressive, and she's proud of the fact that she's more manly than most men (myself included), but that's why we of the Crimson Guardians love her. :) There's just no one like Sakka.

Scelesta- AKA The Scelly. She's an awesome leader and a very talented RDM. Words cannot describe The Scelly adequately :P she's that good.

Starscreem- Now here's the kind of DRK I wish there were more of! Screem is a load of fun to talk to, and compete with as well >.> you could say I want to level to her DRK's level again so we can go head-to-head in DMG vs DMG. Sounds like lots of fun... if I can manage to level that fast :(

Once during a Darkspark run we came so close to each other's damage it was hard to tell who did more. The only indicator I had was my Rampage did more damage than her Guillotine by 4 points. Neither of us had used any buffs at all (she TA'd the guillo onto me but that adds 0 damage subbed so it doesnt count; she used it just so I could keep tanking the thing). At this time we were almost the exact same level, too. I'm thinking we are equals, but that burning desire to compete is still there in both of us. :)

Littlejohn: Makes me laugh every time!

Caruviel: She was an excellent Paladin that I remember well from our Party in Crawlers' Nest. I remember her getting Flash in that party. I think we easily pulled at least 5k/hour in that one session! I may never catch up to her now because I level like once a month.

Purity: She is just about the sweetest person I've ever met. Good friend of mine. Too bad her parents made her quit :(

Poptart: He's rank 10, is NA, and a few weeks ago I saw just how good this little taru was at RDMing. He did everything flawlessly; he was so efficient he had time to melee a bit.

Centhea: I am friends with her RL husband, Bullwinklejmooz; Centh and I are just aquaintances that might see each other once a blue moon, but I haven't forgotten her. She's a very kind person ^^.

Kristianna- Man oh man has Kristi changed since the day I met her. The first time we met, Seeye and I both knew that Kristi would be our downfall in that pt. She was such a brat back then.

The second time we met, she didn't seem to remember me. Until I reminded her about that one dunes PT. She apologized for her previous actions, and after a while of talking to her...she turned out to be just about the sweetest person I'd talked to all year.

It goes to show ya, people can change for the better.

Ronnold: Ron's my [Home Key]. When he and I first met, he was a subless level 13 RDM. He basically played his RDM like the 2003 Bradygames guide told him.

Once he switched to PLD, however, he became one of the best players I've ever seen. We look back at the old days and he can't even believe he listened to that crappy guide. He plays every job he plays like it matters.

He later turned in his PLD armor and went the way of the Samurai. He thoroughly enjoys SAM like no other job he's done before. As with all his jobs, he is very good at what he does. He's so good, in fact, that a HNMLS asked HIM to join. He's a 75 SAM now.

Haseo: He was the second person I met in-game. We started a LS called TheKnightsOfTenken. Sadly, this LS is now dead. It's so sad he will never get to see his dream of us being a HNMLS come true.

Kametatsu: First party of my life had this guy in it, leveling his WHM. He helped a ton and we were kind of bummed that he didn't want a Pearl to the knights. Oh well, the SamuraiPizzaCats are a good LS too.

Joege: He's a bit suicidal, but this guy's great. He finds all the great get-rich-quick schemes and milks all the money out of em. He is the only person in the LS to successfully camp the monster signa. His insane persona is a perfect match for his Job: BLM.

He quit some time ago, and Ronnold and I miss him. Joe and I had a lot in common what with our catgirl obsessions and all >.>

Many of the people I haven't listed are already listed elsewhere on the list of Best players. It seems the best of them are quite popular.

Bad List

Badcarma: Ron and I call him BadPLD. He should switch to DRK. He hates taking hits. He hates dying so much that he'll refuse to voke at times. He doesn't use flash almost at all at level 40.

Example of refusing to voke: Yuhtunga Jungle. Everyone has 2hrs ready. Including carma. We ask him if he wants a Gob. He says maybe. Gob gets to camp and he wants his HP to be topped off. He has 5 away from max HP mind you. He yells at us, refuses to voke, and logs off in the middle of the fight. Ranger had his 2hr though and we killed the gob without him.

Ashigaru: As far as I know, he probably quit the game. but before he did he apparently did a whole lot of training in the dunes. The only party I've ever had with him was one where I was leveling my WAR sub, and then he picks a camp for us. The camp is too dangerous and the WHM refuses to go that close to a gob camp, so we pick a better camp. He becomes intensely adamant about it and stands right where he is, refusing to move from his camp.

...well, there was a reason camps near gob spawn points are a bad idea, and he decided to bring it back to us. The minute he got aggro, he uses it to try to kill the rest of us. The WHM panics and cures him, which gets her all the hate from the 5 goblins, which proceed to kill her as Ashigaru runs to the zone. The rest of us die and I boot him from the party. Clearly, he thought what he had done was exhilirating because he immediately spams in my /tell box:

"w000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000t!"

And then he calls me and my father gay! I hope he has quit.

Pyroshady and Shadymule: He deserves to be shot for calling himself a MNK. He uses underleveled gear, underleveled subjob, and doesn't mind doing 2 damage per fist b/c he refuses to pay for food.

And to add reasons to hate him: He once ran a casino that Haseo played at. Haseo won 10,000 gil and Pyro logged off. Pyro then bragged to other players that he stole the gil. We've called GMs on him, though, and he now denies everything.
*******************************************************

Well, that's all I can remember for now. I hope I didn't forget anybody.

I seriously don't see the point of this thread....you flame players, and congratulate others....why? sure their are some incredibly bad players, there always will be, deal with it. Of course as far as good players you'll list anyone in your own LS and there's likely tons of others you guys don't even remember. I just don't see a purpose to this. what does it accomplish other than inflating egos?

well in the words of a very wise player: thats my 2 gil

You could post good players here to let people know who they should have in their parties, especially when multiple players are looking. You could post bad players here to let people know who they should not have in their parties, especially when multiple players are looking.

Yes, you could post about everybody in your linkshell, and granted, people will, but like you said yourself, deal with it. Some people have other people in THEIR linkshell because they are GOOD players. Go figure, huh? As for me, I don't think I've listed more than two or three people from my linkshell. Not everybody in my linkshell is good, but they're all my friends. Not everybody posts people in this thread because they are their friends. Some people might actually post people who they think are good players. Weird, huh?

BAD PLAYER ALERT.

Sokar: RDM27/MNK9

Bee spatha (level 11 sword)
Beetle harness (level 21 body armor)
Cape (level 7 back armor)
Lizard gloves (level 17 hands armor)
Brass subligar (level 11 leg gear)
Shell ring (level 11 ring)
Shell earring (level 11 earring)
Tourmaline earring (level 10 earring
Blood stone (level 1 waist)

He lacks a shield, a ranged, ammo, headgear, necklace, second ring, boots, a decent subjob, a properly leveled subjob. He invited me to a party, and since there was absolutely nobody in Yhoator Jungle my level, I accepted, and he put a party together with no White Mage. The entire party is in Yhoater Jungle now, and wondering where he is. He took the other way. Lame. The next thing I know, a Tarutaru White Mage (level 28) spawns right in front of me. I told the party they needed him, and disbanded. I'm currently waiting for Sokar to leave the party so I can join. I'm just chillin' next to them.

I'd have to recommend Alta, Anetto, and Lipupu under the great players list. I was trying to get to Norg on my own (at level 30, yes I did have a deathwish.) so i was at the intersection just south of the Norg Entrance and was killed by Ghasts. I waited about half an hour hoping somebody would walk by and raise me, when this trio comes down and raise me and escort me all the way to Norg, didn't ask for anything, they did it on their own free will. Also have to thank Noazon(sp) and Koami(sp) they helped me get the coral. I thank them all.

OK, I've been reading this thread since it started, it's about time I put my list up, here goes:

Good players

Bilorilo- RL friend and one of the best BLMs I know. Also manages to outdamage every dark knight he parties with, and he is a Tarutaru Dragoon.

Cynic- very good BLM and backup healer

Spork- first person I know that reached lvl 75 (BLM)and also a very good monk (for a Taru)

Mikekirby- another RL friend and great WHM, always willing to help out too

Leupan- Samurai I've known since he was a lowly Warrior, very good player

Alpahaknight and Silvermane- two brothers that helped me from the beginning but have since quit the game, I'll miss you guys and the ChampionsofUltima LS

Kima- another old LS buddy and very funny guy, always a good time with Kima around

Zharanaka- hes been through the game with Bilorilo and myself since the start, always a solid DRK

Mystify- the first person I ever partied with, introduced me to my current favorite job (Bard) way back when I was a Monk and just starting out.

Bad players:

Ryanracers- haven't had the misfortune of partying with him, but had a bad experience when he asked for help with a quest, I told him I was busy and got away then, whew

Sujo- not actually a bad player, but is the biggest a$$hole I've ever met, and I've met a lot of a$$holes.

Hey, you sure come off as defensive. Apparantly you haven't realized that the basis for this thread is nurturing egos and casting judgement (tee hee, I said cast) on others. While I enjoy this thread, Gokou makes very valid points. The potential that this thread has of hurting another player's reputation because some people dislike them is high.. and who knows ? Maybe some of the people who have been casted (weee, I said casted again) away as bad really aren't that bad or have improved. Chances are great too that if someone is truly that bad, everyone already knows about them.

The point is that this is all opinion based. It's a grand popularity contest which you are (for some reason) taking a bit too seriously.

My ego doesn't need nurturing. :) It's just fine. If somebody has gotten better, then they must have realized that they sucked at one point, and they should post that they know they were not up to par earlier, and that they have improved. And people (such as Sorak and Ryanracers) are obviously not getting better, or haven't had enough time to get better yet.

lol....anyway, here's my worst because there are so many best I would forget one and feel bad forever, so here's my Worst:

Streakthndrstrm - This guy isn't really a bad player, in fact, he does very well in a party, although, he needs to relise the game is about having fun, not kicking someone just because they delvled, then having the nerve to say it's best for the party. Well, I don't think it's best for the mithra you kicked when she delvled. It was our fault in the first place that she died, so he had no reason to kick her. Ah, well. I'm done ranting about him for a while.

Youngbuck - I know nothing of how this guy partys or how he acts, but I do want to tell my experience yesterday. I was partying in Garlaige Citadel when we see a shout say "watch out, train to zone!" We were partying right near the zone with about 3 other partys near us, so we all zone. Then we are waiting for the many citadel bats to leave and this Youngbuck dude-I think he is Japanese or something-goes in and zones them again and again. His party kicks him but another invites him later. Finally the bats go in far enough for us to go back in. Our tank decides she'll pull the bats away from camp if she can get a raise (what a brave soul). Anyway, after she dies, the bat kill the white mage and start attacking me, someone vokes, and I run. I had to log after that, though, so I never found out what happened. It was a mess, though, to be true.

This thread is pointless and a harm to Ifrit's society.
I feel bad for Ryanracers, he's probably only a kid, show some love for the guy.
If you want to ruin the good server that Ifrit is continue posting in this B.S "I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine" thread.

I have a few things to add:
One of the best players I know is Supafly. He has all jobs to 20, at least, maybe more now. He's always willing to help. Awesome guy, good player, he knows his stuff.

Songi, while we've had some differences, I do respect him. Very opinionated, tho he's willing to help all the time, as long as he's not trying to outcamp the gilsellers.

Ciric, he's a good guy, awesome PLD, he knows what he's doing as well. Always willing to help.

Navyr, (navir on alla) is a nice person, usually stays out of trouble, and is very diplomatic.

Anyone else I forgot, you know if you're good ^^

As for bad players, they're not really bad, just {notice}

Ryanracers, did LB2 with one of my friends, and I was told he did absolutly nothing. I'm not sure on that, but thats what I was told.

Sujo, apparantly had trained a bunch of soldiers and exorays to zone in CN. While that doesnt make him a bad player, just watch out ^^.

Youngbuck, we invited him last night sitting outside of GC waiting for a train. We needed him to tank, so we asked him if that was ok. No response. he just kept moving around. I then said "{Can you speak english?}" No response. I then think that maybe he doesnt have a keyboard. I tell him to stand behind me if he does not have a keyboard, stand in front of me if he does.. He stands outside in S. Campaign while im in the GC entrance hallway. We eventually kick him for a new tank, because he would not communicate in any way.

I know I'm getting into this kinda late, but here are a couple of characters that are really good. I saw Remus' name, he is actually a real life friend, that I met from a close friend of mine. I have reasons for these characters as well.

Remus-
Folks the half of Remus is still unexposed. He helped me out when I was but a NooB. When he came to visit durning his winter break from college he would give pointers, to me and then when I reached his level I think he was 16 then, he did a couple of quests with me and he was just a great part of a party and team. hat makes him good is that he actually knows what he is doing.

Yochu-
Yochu is the above mentioned close friend. I'm not sure how often he plays, but he was a decent magic user. Black that is. But he was good at the game.

Oranji-
This was actuallly my character. I know its probably going to sound cocky but Fall '03 - Spring '04 I played. I wanted to become a Paladin so much that I started giving money, weapons, and armor away to lower level players. I also bought stuff at the AH's for lower level characters. I was decent at the game, but this was my first MMORPG. Istarted to give stuff away when I was at about level 8. Other than that I was ok.

I guess I wanted to add two really good players, I know tons, but these are two who really stick with me as being excelent players, and nice too! ^.^

Demonneko - A super helpful Mithra who is a friend in real life! She and I pt together sometimes, but we talk everyday. Sometimes the only text on my screen is her tells, and tells from Nameless. Also, I currently owe her 4k gil, if you see me by an aution house, remind me I need to send it to her!

Nameless - Yup, his name is Nameless. I met him when I was in giddeus wondering what to do with the giddeus chect key I had just gotten (I had heard I needed it to go to Kazham, but I had no idea how). Suddenly, I see a nm-I don't remember which one-so I send out a shout saying there was a nm spotted at <pos> because 1.I didn't think I could take it and 2. because I know there is always someone wanting to kill them for whatever reasons. Anyhow, Nameless sees this shout and comes running thinking the nm is killing me. He promptly kills it. Then he asks what I am doing here. I say that I am looking for a chest (not knowing about the Kazham thingy at the time) and if he knew where one was. He asks if I have been to kazham. I tell him no. He explains what I should be looking for and that I shouldn't use the key on a chest. Then he asks if my ls gave me advise or such. I explained that it was a small ls with mostly low lvls, and they weren't very helpful with such things. So, being the nice person that he is, gives me a pearl to OrderoftheFox, and I find out everything I need to know.

/sigh, yep, I'm done talking now, or at least, for a while.Till next time, ^.~

Awww. When I read that, my heart nearly sank. I remember her from the very beginning and she is definitely a great BLM! It's a shame to see her go. I bet she doesn't even remember me. Give her my love anyway.

I'll miss you, Maryanna. ~Maniel

Yeh i figured that even though it did seem way rude of him, and put me off since so many ppl in this thread have praised him, he could've just been busy and never gotten back to me, in which case he didn't deserve me being like 'pshhh eff that asob' plus i didn't want the rate down from his friends

=P

I partied months ago in Qufim at lvl ~23 with one of the worst WHMs Ive ever played with: Ccryder (NOT Ccrider).

He was in our ls. He was an a$$ and got kicked. The ls owner and he had a chat, and he came back to the ls. He immediately started acting like an a$$ again. He got kicked. He won't be coming back.

(Sokar) lacks a shield, a ranged, ammo, headgear, necklace, second ring, boots, a decent subjob, a properly leveled subjob.

I don't know Sokar myself, and most of that sounds pretty crappy (MNK subbed to RDM... WTF?). But why would a mid-20s level RDM need a ranged weapon?

Apparantly you haven't realized that the basis for this thread is nurturing egos and casting judgement (tee hee, I said cast) on others.

If "casting judgement" is so terrible, I suggest you find a robot colony. Every animal on this planet casts judgements on a regular basis, and I fail to see the problem with "nurturing" the ego of a good player.

In my many months on this game I have encountered some really bad players. I wish I would have kept a list of them so I could warn you guys about them. Alas, there are only a couple that I remember.

Ryanracers: May he burn in hell.

And may I just say that I'm sure he enjoys all of the criticism that is voiced about him, as anyone that didn't would have long ago changed servers. It is rather sad how low people stoop in order to get a rise out of others. Especially for one's own amusement.

Lildog: The hate is vastly reciprocated.

And now for the best!

Bilorilo:BLM pride!

Tanat:<--- best MNK my lvl! Hands down!

Hytaruaru: (sp? ><) It's always a joy to have you as my WHM ^.^

Trinitty:Damn good RDM

Aleksandr:Best PLD! <3

Elizabeta:I highly recommend this THF.

HerroVery good RNG (if you would stop fooling around with WHM in the dunes! How many times must I raise you XD XD)

And everyone in Genesis!!Thanks for everything you guys! <3 <3

Ok may as well throw in my 2 gil let's see..

I don't really know any bad players, so i got nothing to say there.

Good Players though:

Eikechi: noble samurai, my inspiration to become one, even if only for a little while XD

Mikekirby n Kima: the two who helped me get the samurai job hehe

Isisgirl: she knows how to party lol, makes great groups get tons of xp with Isis >:D

Decimus: same as Isis, if you get a chance to pt with Decimus you will not be sorry

Paarth: the levelling machine, whether thf or rng Paarth just kicks ass

Um, that's all for now, if i missed your name you can /slap me when you see me O.o

ok ok part of this may very well be a popularity contest but lets go into a few things none discusses such as what makes you a good or bad player.....after months and countless hours of playing here and lvling multiple jobs there are a few conclusions/tips on bettering yourself (and myself) so 1 day you may be listed on here or become lvl 75. Good ppl may not need this but there are a few helpful hints/useful material enclosed for even the veterans that they may not be aware of, most of it u should know and do alrdy though ^^

Good
macros - yo.....have them, use them!
equips - I usually check ppl in the PT to see what problems may occur/what equips I myself may want to get for supafly for other jobs. Mages usually don't apply here since many can get to about lvl 30+ but certain small gil enhancements to increase their stats are welcomed. The high gil items help a lot but I have PTed with great players that didn't have the beloved leaping boots/emp hairpin. Hopefully certain mellees have skilled up certain weapon so they are capped from the last level. I don't mind and encurage players to change weapons to "skill up"(unless i see a warrior that wants to use a wand/rod ><) but i don't want a DRK to switch from a capped scythe to a Gswrd that is only lvled to 10 either, keep up with this weapon skill up as u progress and all will go well!!! ^^

worthless subs
don't equip a worthless sub, put some thought or personality into it. I went to dunes as a rng/brd because at that lvl the extra song helped the PT more than any other sub would, if u are a thf seeking forever i would suggest a brd sub there as well unless u wanna go thf/war for the "voke" help. Now in Qufim i'm rng/thf for the agility stats or rng/sam for the Store TP effect stat. Also lvl your subs to their max, its easy and enjoyable to do because it gives a break from your main and gives one the ability to sub other jobs ^^

Meleeing 101
ok guys listen, if you don't have a PT that takes the 2-3 minutes to establish a SC by the time you are lvl 24 quit the PT. Put calls in your SC starting as well, SC's help in xp over time and it shows that you are dealing with good players usually or at least competent 1's ^^ Best parties I have ever encountered had 2-3 criss-crossing overlapping SC's and we raked in 4k xp in an hour or less. Think about it! If I am in a PT i just sorta check what weapon everyone is using and go with a SC with them vs. what I am fighting, that way at least me and 1 other player has an idea of how to deal dmg ^^

Mages/Puller
This is either a love/hate relationship or all love. To the puller/fisher I strongly suggest you form a relationship with the healer, don't pull till he says ok regardless of what others say, we all know what happens when a person pulls and the mages are low on MP ><. Also put a <call> into your pull so those that are about to fall out from all night of playing will perk up to the little ringtone to know a mob is coming.^^ mages should figure out definitely how to MB cast the right enfeebs etc. If a mage doesn't have macros by lvl 15 they are gonna suck later cause there is no way they can get to the right spells in time. WHM can raise the magic lvls (light magic enhances) but just keep your members alive the key to WHM is CURE CURE CURE. It keeps the world happy and please take WHM all the way we need ya.
RDM good red mages are quick with melleeing /curing/refreshes/nuking they do it all. RDM in my mind is a demanding job (like brd) and if you can't effectively do it sum1 is gonna tell ya.
- Pullers don't take risks in your pull, ppl get real tired about zoning trains in Yhoater Jungle just listen to this key advice: the blm can tractor and the whm can raise so just die far enough away for both as well as away from other PTs. The time of a tractor + a raise will have you back in the game much faster than zoning. I had a few gob problems in dunes 1 time but I always managed to find a high lvl and send a quick /tell for them to take it off me as I pulled my Damselfly to my PT (just don't annoy the high lvls too bad)many in that area are glad to help and I always made sure to know where 1 was ^^ Do not attempt to kill anyone or you will be seeking with other jobs or else later on as ppl remember you as "the guy that brought aquarius NM into my PT 1 time." don't bug the puller too much either with get an IT blah blah, the puller is trying trust me there just aren't any IT's out there lol. Great PT's usually have 2 or more pullers as they can scout and pull faster with 2, just don't pull if the other puller does and vice versa ^^

Have filters established to reduce lag - you do not need to know what ppl around you are doing, hell I don't even want to know the dmg my PT is doing I have a few key filters that let me know everything i deem is necessary.

BAD/BLIST/DO NOT DO!!!
- don't mothaf&(*(*(* cast lots (unless it is understood that an item is needed) after a PT tells you not to. If i send an autotranslate out for no CAST LOTS after 2 battles I do 1 of 2 things: I kick ya or i put the lots in quartermaster mode and award the items to whoever got the last blow in on the kill, more often than not, I kick ya.
- Don't have crap equips, don't not have a spell that would be needed/useful to your lvl (I'm gonna stop buying curagas for whms over 20 cause its rediculous to even do so)
- Don't not have a SC - i quit PT's that don't past lvl 25 because i know i'll be 32 by the time you are 27 :P
I give every PT an equal chance to prove themselves and I usually disband after 2 deaths sumtimes 1 depending on what I experience from the overall karma of the PT
- Talk less on the LS, if even at all, save idle chat for the mog house / ah visit because you are in a PT to xp we need your attention
- don't pull when sum1 tells you not too, sum1 may be smarter with you on potential mobs/xp over time or even worse sum1 may be afk
- don't camp in sum1 else's camp - I hate those that do as aoe's and other stuff hits me from another PT's mob, u wanna get good xp, scout a few camps, there are a few hidden areas all over for great xp that offer yummy mobs to pull + no one ever camps there! Scout it out! ^^
- for the sake of Ifrit don't spam ^^
- for the sake of the high lvl PT don't have quotes to your "Boost" ability and other random crap on certain abilities you use over and over and over, it was funny 30 lvls ago but I don't really care to see it, I've noticed a few JP's that put their TP % on their voke macro as well as mages that put MP % on all their spells now I love seeing that it helps me know what is going on, as for the "By Ramuh's thunder I call You!" crap just take it out^^

A few tips I found out: these are really helpful
the thf/brd in dunes is a great idea (god i love paeon) because no other sub (other than war) can help more it goes to show ya a brd sub can be useful....however drop brd sub past 20 cause it's laughable to use later
Garliage Citadel - I noticed an alliance in the early lvls 31-33 bring in great xp over time (possibly better than having a reg PT) plus it decreases competition for mobs. Sure its risky to kill bats and chain at so low a lvl but by the time 1 PT killed 1 bat our 32 alliance was on chain 4 if that isn't killer xp over time i dont know what is :P ^^ If you find other places this works let me know, I'm sure it only works in entry lvl areas such as being lvl 35-36 and possibly alliance 12 in crawlers nest. Drop the alliance when xp goes downhill but for 30-45 minutes our PT was back to 6 and taking mobs easier than if we woulda started with just 6 at entry area level.
This stuff is too help ya i read this post to see who the good/bad players are but I think these helpful tips will make Ifrit better overall rather than giving props/degrading players
The one, the only....Supafly ^^

holyheal is awesome, this in most cases is a popularity contest, of that i happen to agree, however i've only pted once with holy and that was for a garrison, and he rocked, not only insanely nice and willing to give up 2 hours for a 7 knot quipis but he taught us all how to fight in a garrison, i would party with holyheal anytime
