Best and Worst players on IfritFollow

This seems to have a been a matter of miscommunication and a big misunderstanding. From what I can tell and have heard from others, Tilo is a fairly good guy but in my opinion should've just /t'd that to the party leader to avoid any possible complications from that bugger's unaware party members. However, what's done is done and it's been rectified for the better, so this issue is closed.

I do however have issues where people keep hearing so much support for themselves and that a relative 'unknown' complaining about a popular 'good' guy generally gets regarded as a complete and utter fool for attempting to slander the 'good' guy. As someone said earlier, people change and those popular people who realize they can get away with sh*t because of their popularity/friends really should be looked down upon. In no way am I regarding Tilo in this manner, but I am just trying to say in the future, at least be cordial to the little guy until the entire story has unfolded. Nothing sucks more than having your in-game reputation destroyed due to miscommunication and people being prejudiced against you because they don't know you.

I relized another WHM you need to stay Away from. Darktaru. Over priced teles. And Chargers for raise. I understand you gotsta get you cash but honestly. Charging for raise. thats heartless. =X Ive partied with him before and he HAS allowed my charachter to die numerous times. .. so.. yeah some of those WHM out there.. arent that great. you dont want to trust a jerk with your life..

I make it a point not to agree with Fhqwghads too often but it's been a while so I can.

For pretty much every tele, either the WHM shouts an asking price or the recipient shouts an offer price. If you don't agree on a price, don't tele. It's that simple. The only underhanded thing worthy of this list would be if he invites you and ups the price or teleports you and then demands a price that wasn't agreed upon.

As for raises, if he was on a choco when he found you and asks for a small amount to cover the choco he had to give up, that's cool. Anything beyond that is pretty unethical as Fhqwghads said.

Someone I'd like to add, whom I haven't seen posted on here yet... I haven't gone through every post to find him, however. ^^; If he's not here I want to mention his and a few other names.

In my opinion, some of the best players:

Mokage (75RDM/WHM or NIN - the one whom I mentioned above)
Nasuada (75DRG)
LadyKagome
Takeno (SAM RDM and DRK)
Gokuthemighty (75MNK 75BRD) One of the best MNKs I've seen on the server, he does his job well and does his best to do the best he can. I haven't had the pleasure to see him on his BRD much though.
Seshiro (70+SMN)

Just some people I haven't seen mentioned, Goku especially lol since he doesn't talk much. Imo these are some awesome players. ^^

Wow, this thread brings back some memories. I quit playing 2 years ago but I still get the urge to play.....this game's worse than crack.

Minimee is a freakin awesome healer, I partied with him, cool guy, badass taru.

Wow I can barely remember the names of the people I partied with the most, but I'm pretty sure Grimblade and I were in a party in CN. I was Whm and he was Pld, and we were fighting Exorays in addition to the usual XP mobs because everyone in our party needed the LB1 item. People were telling us no, don't do that, but we were all like might as well, since we all need the item anyways. We were actually doing really good, killing them wasn't as much of a problem as I thought it would be.

Than of course we get hit with that Shroom kick or whatever it's called....everyone in the party was instant-red. So being the whm that I am I DS Curaga II. Of course I gain massive hate, and I figured I would die, which I didn't mind so much cause it was a damn good party.....but I didn't have to worry about it. No sh*t, Grimblade (I think, like I said it's been awhile) does about 5 different things and actually pulled the Exo off of me! We were all pretty damn impressed, and I was alive after curing for 3000+ hp, and I think we got the drop off of that one too. Hellagood party.

As far as worst players......well I was reading the Ryanracers stories. And I thought to myself, holy f**k. Even though it's been 2+ years since I played I still remember this jagoff.

It was a bright sunny day in Rolanberry Fields. I was watching my friend Undeaddemon play and he was farming Goobacks with his (at the time) 50 DRG. So this guy comes up and says hey wanna farm together, we can kill more stuff. Undead checks his lvl and it was 48 RDM so he was like sure, why not? So he accepts the invite and right away RR starts killing everything in sight. Undead looks at me and says what the hell is this guy doing? I'm like I dunno. RR claims he's doing it so they get more drops. O.K. what ever.

Well after killing everything in the zone RR suggests they head to Sauromouge Champaign. They head over there and start killing beaks and again, RR is off killing everything that moves, no cures, no buffs, just being a complete idiot. A funny thing happened too.....I saw this wierd little green sign turn on for a split second after they got this skin off of one of the beaks they killed. Than I realized why Undead wasn't getting any drops.....RR was changing it to Quartermaster and than switching it back to group. What an a**hole!

So Undead hands me the keyboard, and the first thing I do is ask RR if I can see one of the summoner scrolls that was dropped....just cause I wanted to "see what it looks like". He agrees and than, after a couple seconds, says, "Give it back."

"Huh?"

"Give it back."

"Give what back?"

"The scroll, you wanted to look, you saw it, now give it back-"

"What scroll?"

"THE SUMMONER SCROLL!"

I'm like, "Oh the one you just handed me? O.K."

I stand there for 5 minutes and say nothing, all the while he's running around and screaming at me. Me and Undead are laughing are freakin arses off, and I get back on.

"Oh hey sorry dude, my connection is getting all funky. Here, I'll give you the scroll back."

He calms down, and I open a trade window with him. I than proceed to trade him one of those stupid little 100 gil flowers and a bat wing.

"Hey these are the wrong items", he says.

"Oh mibad dude.....my keyboard is getting funky", I say.

Again we go to trade. Again I give him a rose, but this time he doesn't accept it.

"Wrong item", he says.

"Oops, sorry, hang on", I say yet again.

Once again, trade item. This time I give him a lizard skin and a rose.

"WTF?!?!?!?" he starts going off on me again. Me and Undead are dying at this point. I wasn't done yet.

I open up another trade window, RR stands there, and I trade him 2 lizzie skins and a rose, AGAIN.

"YOU MOTHEREFFER I'M GONNA KILL YOU YOU THEEF YOU STOLE FROM ME THEEF LIAR JERK!"

Me and Undead are laughing so hard we're crying. I run back to Jueno with RR right behind me, shouting how I'm a thief and a bad player, all the way to Jueno. We zone into Jueno and then I zoned back out right away. So I'm standing there for about 10 seconds and blam, here comes RR back out to SC. So I zone back into Jueno, and 10 seconds later he zones back in too....so I zone back outside. He comes back outside and I go back inside and run to the AH quick. He runs in and keeps going to the MH so I ran back outside and finally lost him. Me and Undead still laugh about that sh*t to this day. Ryanracers is definitely the biggest douche in the universe of Ifrit.

Couchninja and Potatoninja....man those dudes cracked me the hell up. Funny mofos.

Heddmen was another Galka mage, always looking to bet on some dice. That guy was a hustla through and through, cool cat.

Damn it's been awhile since I played.

HAHAHAHA! Someone put Cptpunchy on their best of list. This guy subs whm because, "It's cheaper than /nin."

Guess I should add something productive since I'm here. I recently took rdm to 75 a few months ago. During that time the only decent whm I remember partying with was: Pabidobi. Spelling might be a bit off. Little tawu whm had all the basics right. I remember pt'ing with two whms in a row that wore a vermy, but cured with a dark staff wtf! Then I pt'ed with Pabi, who seemed to have all the basics down and did a good job. Knew how to equip change, used barspells, even I think used flash properly. Good stuff.

I quit playing over a year ago, and this past June I came back to the game. When I quit last year I gave K everything I had... ...he still had it all on his mules :P Anyone else would have sold it. Aside from being a great player, he is without a doubt the most decent person on the server and the best in-game friend you could ask for.

best player: hyperact.. but he quit.. Soo ...Saihano.

Worst player: Belora.. but he's rmt.. sooo.. Mummified.. but you all knew that.

OK, what the hell?

Then we're supposed to target imps, flys, jnun. With no refresher?

Yeah after the second mob, Dragonscurse fake DC's... the party gets an Imp link, has to zone, and the other Warrior dies.

The NIN bails like a little pansy and Dragonscurse never comes back.

Then I get stuck with leader and somehow have to convince someone to fill in this mess?
