I'm debating whether to launch a linkshell on the Gilgamesh server devoted to slightly more inexperienced players who aren't up to the sky high standards of most of the other linkshells around. I've been lucky enough to be part of a couple of wonderful linkshells up until now full of helpful and friendly players, but one problem I often come up against (understandably) is that the majority of members concentrate almost exclusively on end game content, meaning they have very little time to spare to help with the earlier quests and missions, resulting in a catch twenty-two situation as without their help I can't advance to their level. If I was to go ahead with this I'd be aiming for a very friendly, warm, welcoming and helpful community of players who will gladly give up a little of their time to help others, and who can hopefully expect the same in return. Would anyone at all be interested in this? If so, please reply to this post or send a tell in game to Roganjosh. Many thanks indeed.

Yes I would be interested in this, so feel free to include me if you wish. With my old LS seemingly disbanded while waiting for FFXIV, I am hard pressed with needing a LS to continue my character development. On the other hand I am also always willing to help out when others are in need. Thats just how the game works in my opinion. While we are dealing with a shortage of players these days, we need to get as many to band together as possible.
I am a EU player (formerly US player) if that matters to you. I've no 75 job, and currently stand at rank 6. Highest job is 69 BST.

I transferred here a while ago, I was an older player. I've picked up a bit of the new stuff, but my knowledge of the game is very limited, so this linkshell is probably a good idea for me. I took a break from the game for finals, so I'm in the process of getting the game to work, but when it does I'll shoot you a tell ingame. I too have no 75 jobs, my highest is a 60 RNG if I remember correctly, but THF has always been my favorite, so I want to take it to 75. Thanks for thinking about doing this!

What's the status on this?
Myself a some roommates have been playing for about a month now and i have my thf at 48.
We started a linkshell, but more for ease of communication than actually wanting to start a huge group of newbies.

Hi i have been away from the game for a while now but i played for 5 almost 6 years now i am back i couldnt get me character back so i am starting from scratch and looking for a good linkshell to help me get back up with cop and rank mission ect and anything new thats come out in the last year or so. I had lv 75 bst 60 whm 50 rdm 40 blm 48 thf 40 blue and most other jobs 40 lv i also had 4 other characters with simular lvs and i had cop and ziltar done i also had rank 9. But now i have to start things from level 1 but i remember most of what i did so any help you can give me i will give help back on anything in the game up to the new things like abysea i can even solo most rank missions with the right levels.I would also like to ask if you can find a place in your shell for 2 others who are new to the game.
lahari was played by my son who loved this game and though he died dec 21/2005 i will do my best to continue and finish what he started.

i would be interested in this also. just came back after a long break. i have a 75 pld and a ton of 30 plus jobs. also have a few other char. let me know on here or in game. i will look for your names while im playing.
