Hey, I've just started playing FFXI again after a 3 year vacation.

I kind of switched things up this time around. Instead of an Elvaan from San D'oria, I'm a Galka in Bastok. I've noticed that there weren't many people new players starting out here. My g/f(Myzaree) started in San D'oria and has the luxury of party invites and people helping when she needs it. I made one friend(Raiger) my first day who also happened to start playing again after a year long vacation from the game. His frist words to me were "Thank god you speak english!" Since then we have played together. We pretty much keep pace with each other, leveling up other jobs or pursuing a craft when the other person isn't on so we don't cripple the others XP.

We came to the conclusion we need to find a 3rd member for our dynamic duo. Someone who is new as well so they can learn with us as opposed to teach us. Doesn't matter what job. Just someone who wants to learn the adventure with us and experience what the game has to offer. And make lots of gil!
