I don't get the draw for the whole fanfest. Is it the in-game item? Is it meeting people you play with? To me, I could think of about a million places I would rather go with about equal travel time. And that's only about two hours for me...

It was SO MUCH FUN meeting all you guys, most of you for the first time! What a great server we have! And kudos to Rabid Moogle linkshell, they had T-shirts! Okay, first of all, hello world! :D I have just joined up on Alla (been lurking for ... years, wow!), but I couldn't find any kind of spot where you're supposed to make your first posts. So, if I need to go make an introduction somewhere, please feel free to direct me there. :)
But if not, here is my main reason for joining up-- catching up with you guys I met at the Fan Festival! ;D Hiya!
I figured I should post here since... I was there! And I won third place in the crafting contest (XD http://www.ffxifestival.com/contestresults.php check it out, Gilgamesh REPRESENT!), so I sorta wanted to show that to people who understand FFXI. ;D If anyone went and voted for me, thanks so much!! <3
Anyway, it was really nice to see you guys!! I can't wait to see you guys on Alla, and in-game! ^_^
